For the baker in you, or the lover of Afternoon Teas, you simply have to visit Betty's Cafe Tea Rooms. Customers are greeted by a tempting array of delicious Yorkshire and Continental confections in the shop and an elegant Cafe. Fat Rascals are like a scone (but not a scone) and are the signature treat to try. Harrogate is actually lucky enough to have 2 Betty's Tea Rooms. The original Betty's which is now world famous, is located just around the corner from Harrogate Lifestyle Apartments, a short walk up Parliament Street and the other is located on Otley Road which a short drive or lovely walk away, through the English Heritage Valley Gardens and Pinewoods toward RHS Harlow Carr Gardens.

This pub takes its name from the original purpose of this building. Harrogate’s former Royal Baths included the Winter Gardens – built so that visitors could relax and stroll in any weather. Its name lives on in this Wetherspoon pub. During the 1920s, people could relax here, amid potted palms, listening to music from a grand piano. In the 1930s, the Municipal Orchestra played every morning throughout the year, with free admission for the patients of the baths.

Everything Else

Harrogate is a Spa town and there are lots of treatment rooms to choose from but the most famous would be The Turkish Baths and Health Spa. A Turkish Baths ritual is a journey of heating, cooling and cleansing the body, promoting a sense of relaxation and a clear mind. We recommend a visit to The Turkish Baths which is located just around the corner from Harrogate Lifestyle Apartments so you can easily walk there.
