At the Albert Hein you can do all your groceries. On this big square you also find a butcher, post office, flower store and different vegetables stores.

If you want to have a nice cold beer, ore glass of wine in the sun, you really should go to café 't Sluisje. It at the Nieuwendammerdijk, on of the oldest dikes in Amsterdam Noord and the bar in a typical old Dutch wooden house (dated from 1565). The interior is still untouched and old photos on the wall will give you a picture on how life was here a hundred years ago.

Buy metro ticket at Metro Noorderpark
Just last year the new metro line form the North to the South of Amsterdam openend. When you stop with the bus (35) at metro halte Noorderpark you can buy at the ticket machine a metro ticket (only cards).
