A HumCo tradition NOT to be missed. Eat one of their bagels - for instance a slug with cream cheese, guacamole and lox - you will want to move here forever. It's a Jewish-Mexican bakery! Go there!

This tour only runs May through October, but if you visit during that time, I highly recommend the tour. Humboldt Bay is an environmental gem and the Madaket tour lets you see that.

Ok, you'll stop for the photo-op with giant Paul and Babe, but the real reason to stop here is the amazing local Native American museum. Look at the treasures of form and design....and timelessness.

1006 W Wabash AveThis is the cheapest gas in the county. Fuel up here.
If you are driving north on 101,it's the last cheap gas until you get to Oregon (Costco & Indianola Mkt are the cheapest in HumCo). Fuel up in Willits, especially if you have a Safeway card!
