We have a beautiful beer garden, with a separate raised-bed area for growing vegetables, and stunning views of the South Downs. The garden has a lovely children’s play area including a fun treasure-hunt style trail. We also have secure bike racks and are very happy to top-up water bottles for cyclists.
Sunday lunches are our busiest times so please do book in advance.

The Salt Room is a modern British seafood and grill restaurant. It's focus centres on celebrating the fruits of the sea, delivering the finest seafood and grilled meat cooked over charcoal to the table. Our emphasis being on sustainability, championing local produce and continuing the ethos of sharing plates like our sister restaurant, The Coal Shed.
Located opposite the West Pier, this seaside dining retreat has uninterrupted sea views that can be enjoyed from the inside via glass fronted windows and for when the temperatures rises, outside.
