Come here every summer while I spend time at the lake. Love the great service and fantastic food, love even more that it's not super pretentious. It's a nice place but don't feel like you need to dress very formal. Great view of Douglas lake. The mussels were amazing as always and the desserts are all delicious. As far as entrees, any DLB specials are fantastic and the steaks are always satisfying and a generous serving size. Always enjoy my experience here.

It's a nice place but don't feel like you need to dress very formal. Great view of Douglas lake. The mussels were amazing as always and the desserts are all delicious. As far as entrees, any DLB specials are fantastic and the steaks are always satisfying and a generous serving size. Always enjoy my experience here.

4208 S Straits HwyOne of the cool gems of the north. An old restaurant with the same old recipes that have been great for a long time. They handle big groups very well. I would make it a much planned stop if your in the area. It's always busy and you won't be disappointed.

They do not accept Starbucks cards/rewards, but they do have their own rewards system/app. (Very easy to use and set up.) Friendly and fast service, too!

What a place! The building is unique and eccentric, fashioned by the owner years ago (topped with the legs of chairs, hence its name). Ask for a table outside looking over Lake Michigan.
The food is excellent with both Polish and American fare.
Take the drive up from Harbor Springs along Lake Michigan -- called the Tunnel of Trees. You'll weave your way through the woods and see several million dollar homes.

Had a great time tasting some local wines and hard ciders. Such a pretty place with a great balcony to sit overlooking the vineyard. We would definitely come back. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are great too!
