OK, you can be in a world class art museum if you walk 15 minutes from Smack Dab - you don't even have to call an Uber, or ride the T. This is a beautiful museum, recently renovated to merge several museums into one. If you have time, I highly encourage you to go.

Take time to enjoy the displays of this amazing institution - the Glass Flowers, the mineral room, the preserved animals from every continent, artifacts from indigenous peoples, so many things are housed here. It's a large museum, with a small, often old-fashioned feel. It is a gem of a museum.

This is an amazing coffeeshop in Harvard Square. I'd say, next to Simon's, it's my favorite. Two floors, white tile, amazing European-style confections, great lemonade (not too sweet), just a great place to hang out and watch the Harvard Square crowd interact.

Amazing European style confections, chocolate-based and otherwise, amazing coffee. You feel like you are NOT in Harvard Square, but somewhere where time is not a commodity. It 's been here for a long time, relatively speaking, which speaks to its high standards.

People come from ALL OVER to get these bagels, and you can bite into one after a 5 minute walk. This may be the best bagel you will ever eat. Run there, if you love bagels.
