Fine dining in an intimate setting. While it is true that the setting and surroundings are beautiful in this historic downtown building the gastronomic experience fails to support the price point break.

The best local and fresh seafood, also a great little restaurant. Don't want want to drive to Matlacha?; then go to the Fort Myers Farmers Market (downtown behind the USPS) and the Island Seafood Market truck is there selling just caught seafood from their Matlacha store.

The Ford and Edison Estate Tour takes you back in time to when these two great inventors spent their winters in Fort Myers on the Caloosahatchee river. Enjoy a wonderful educational trip back to the inventors' restored winter homes. Outstanding architecture, restaurant and marina on the Chattahoochee River

We have not been here, however we have heard that this is great experience, especially for children and young adults.This 105-acre sanctuary features nature trails, a natural history museum & planetarium exhibits.

A great experience to view manatees as they flock to the Florida Power & Light power plant cooling towers outflow. The Gulf temperature in winter is 63 degrees so the manatees are drawn to the warm outflow water.
