Way better Udon than Marukame Udon (the one with the ridiculous line everyday). Don't be fooled by the hype. TsuruTonTan has way better fresh made noodles. Super chewy!

If you're in the North Shore and going to get Garlic Shrimp from some of the famous trucks around, go to Romy's. Most tourist go to Giovanni's. They're good, but Romy's is better. They're the only "Shrimp Truck" with their own farm right in the back, serving fresh shrimp, not frozen like the others. They also sometimes have Prawns which are delicious. A bit of advice, call in a phone order when you're about 45 mins away. The wait can be LONG.

Run by 2 awesome dudes, this spot is the only Cider brewery on the island. If you love Ciders, you will absolutely be blown away by their creations. No food served here though. Don't be alarmed it's in a pretty random location. Tucked away between warehouses.

Parks & Nature

If you get the chance, do this little hike down to the tidepools, you won't regret it. You will need to go to the Makapu'u Lighthouse Trail and climb about half way up. You will see Whale Watching signs, that is where you start climbing down the rocks. You will be able to see the tidepools from above. You can swim in the tidepools, there are often fish in there as well.
