The Oasis Restaurant is VERY close to our house. The atmosphere is outstanding, the views are usually spectacular, the food is fine and the margaritas are awesome! You can actually spot our house from their deck! Just look toward the Dam. Don't worry if there is a wait, because the Oasis is so huge you won't have to wait long.

The Grove is a local restaurant and is very close to our house and Lake Travis High School. They have a great food menu and wine list. The view is spectacular from the restaurant or bar.

We love Whole Foods, movie theater, restaurants, shops and walking outdoors. Not that great on rainy days, but the movie theater will work on those days. We like the parking garage on those rainy or HOT days.

Lake Travis Football attracts a lot of spectators. Stay with us and take an Uber or better yet, park at the Baylor Scott and White parking garage and take the shuttle straight to the front door of the stadium.

Stone House is pretty close. There winemakers are from Australia and make incredible wines. Try the Tempranillo Rose in the heat of the summer! Beautiful setting and if you can go when the bluebonnets bloom, you will be blown away.

Spicewood is very casual and they are dog friendly. They have a variety of offerings and we love their "Independence" red. They don't just have random people doing the tastings. It is usually one of their principals. Their cheese plates are awesome as well.

If it is more convenient for you to go south of our house, this grocery store is about 4-5 miles south. HEB is a HUGE grocery store. They have a very nice wine section and wonderful produce. They also have a restaurant and bar. You do not need to bring your own bags either which is convenient. 5 star grocery store.

They have a very nice wine section and wonderful produce. They also have a restaurant and bar. You do not need to bring your own bags either which is convenient. 5 star grocery store.
Randall's is closer than HEB but more expensive. It is a lovely store. You have to have a Randalls Card, but it is easy to get. They also have good gas prices.

You can buy a bottle of wine in the store and they will open it for you to enjoy with your meal.
If it is more convenient to go north of our house, there is an HEB which is 5 miles north at the intersection of 620 and 2222. You have to bring your own bags or pay .25 per bag. We have extra grocery bags if you need to borrow. HEB has VERY fresh produce and great prices.

We are right across from Mansfield Dam Park, so you cannot get closer. Bring your boat or we have rental recommendations. In fact, when the lake level is low, the Mansfield Dam boat launch is the last one to close. We have lots of room for parking cars, boat trailers, etc.

Hamilton Pool is a rare jewel. It was created because a cave roof caved in and exposed a natural swimming area. We are told that it has become popular over the last couple of years, so you need to make reservations.
