The Cafe Bar provides a great variety of cold and hot beverages and alcoholic drinks. They also have eat in and take away pizzas, toasted sandwiches and ice-creams. A lot of sports is shown on their Big Screens. There is a pool table and, free Wi-Fi.

The valley is a truly beautiful sight. The chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Itria is quaint. Tombs and caves can be seen across from it. Part of the Victoria Lines (which are a line of fortifications that span 12 kilometres along the width of Malta)can be seen. The view from near the chapel is unique. Fort Binġemma (built as a watch tower during the times of the Knights of St John) is nearby.

Parks & Nature

Magnificent views. Maltese Garigue. A 'must visit' for nature lovers. Offers fantastic views of cliffs, valleys, deep blue Mediterranean Sea as well as peace and tranquillity and is well worth a visit. The only way down to the secluded Fomm Ir-Rih Bay is via a rough, tricky and sometimes steep and slippery pathway taking around 20 minutes. Be aware that the return climb in 30°C (and over) heat and sun is not recommended for unfit persons, children and elderly. When the winds blow from the north or northwest swimming is not recommended as it is dangerous with the rolling waves.

30 minutes on foot from the apartments (downhill!!) 3 minutes by car Ġnejna is notable for its striking clay slopes and limestone cliffs. Above the bay, on a tall, rocky outcrop, is Lippia Tower (also known as Ta’ Lippia or Ġnejna Watch Tower), built during the times of the Knights of St John

Golden Bay is one of the few sandy beaches on the north west coast of Malta. Għajn Tuffieħa Bay is a red beach a short distance south of Golden Bay. Quieter than Golden Bay, often visited by the Maltese themselves, as well as tourist visitors. In order to reach this beach one needs to descend a hill on a staircase of 200 steps. On top of the cliffs west of Għajn Tuffieħa bay there is an old defense tower built in 1637 during the times of the Knights of St John. If the sea is rough, please be cautious!
