This south London wine bar and brasserie set in a refurbished English boozer is managed by a couple of French brothers - maitre d', Nolan, and head chef, Florent. There's a certain pedigree to it too, with the pair's parents running the long-standing Lobster Pot, just down the road.
Live music upstairs, in the Piano Bar, plays an important part in evenings here. Expect jazz quartets, soul soloists, vocal harmonies and even a bit of funk alongside open-mic sessions and nights dedicated to the musicals of the West End.

This place is superb. I had the middlewhite pork chop which was absolutely delicious. And the slab of bacon to start was also amazing. It's really nicely done inside too... Feels old school and somehow luxurious and simple at the same time. The venue has the most amazing drinks range, you can order anything drink you can think of. Great date place. Great for foodies. Not so great for vegans! And probably not too easy with young kids as there is bench seating and it's quite tight.

The most beautiful cocktail bar - the service is wonderful and the listen to you describe which kind of cocktail you would like to try and they will make it for you. The decor is vintage and has a wonderful cosy feel - it's like you've stepped back in a time machine.
