Food Scene
La Cocina is a landmark in Truth or Consequences. It is known for beautiful hand-painted table tops depicting scenes of the 'Old West'. Local artists display their paintings and wood burning artistry, as well as a magnificent display of taxidermy.
The menu is extensive - we have tested almost everything - and it is consistently delicious. The steaks are excellent and incredibly affordable. A few musts - the "Hot Stuff" (cheese, avocado, magic spices) dip is served with complimentary corn chips, and the sopaipillas (large, puff-like pastry served with honey) are off the charts!
