Food Scene

In addition to the many varieties of pizza, which are baked in the traditional way in the stone oven, as well as homemade pasta dishes, they offer prepared on a lava stone grill fish or meat skewers. The waiter hangs the prepared skewers over your table, from where you can cut them directly onto your plate. Another specialty is their truffle pasta .... In a Parmesan cheese loaf, the linguine is prepared at the table. For this, the Parmesan loaf is flambéed where the melted cheese unfolds its full Parmesan flavor. Then the pasta is added so that both components come together. The grated truffles then complete the special taste experience.

Mexican Food. When you are sick of eating donor kebabs and schnitzel, Mexican food is a welcome change. Pretty good enchiladas and an average range of vegetarian choices. A good range of beers (both German and Mexican). Good service too!

Vegan & vegetarian asian- Excellent! The food is amazing and the service is very welcoming and helpful. Plus the beautiful interior creates the restaurant's vibe and makes it feel really really cozy. I definitely recommend to everyone, not just vegetarians!

Middle Eastern Bar & restaurant- A nice place to hang out with a mixed international crowd & staff... cosy, great sunday buffet with oriental dips amongst other delicious food, wifi, great german newspaper mix (taz, junge welt and gala) and an open, friendly atmosphere. There is a music jam every Sunday night; people are free to join and play their music. Try the homemade lemonade and the best hoummos of prenzlauer berg if not berlin...

Every Sunday- The Street Food Market on Sunday, from 12-18 clock, in the KulturBrauerei in Prenzlauer Berg. Street Food on the Axis should provide a platform for the great, extraordinary, colorful and, above all, love and profession cooking food trucks in Berlin and the surrounding area. In addition to the offers of trucks is of course also in stalls, simmering and experimenting. In the courtyard of the KulturBrauerei you can warm yourself in the cold season on Feuerkörben, there is a covered area with umbrellas and in very bad weather, the delicacies can be eaten and drunk in the adjacent Frannz Club. In the spring / summer you can sit in the adjacent Frannz Club beer garden.

There are 2 options for traveling to and from Schoenfeld airport. You can take the S9 from Prenzlauer Allee train station ( or from airport to the station). This is not the nicest train or route but it operates frequently at all times of the day. My choice, is to take the M2 tram to Alexanderplatz then change to the RB14 airport express train from platform 1. It operates about every 40 nimutes so you will have to check the timetable. The train is fast and comfortable with only a few stops on the way. Revers the route for arrival. RB14 to Alexanderplatz then M2 to Frobelstrasse.
