Love this place. Great casual ambiance. Spicy Chai Tea Lattes and the home made coffee is my favorite. In the summers they usually have an outdoor yoga class in the morning on weekends. Haven't had a chance to go yet, but I'm planning on it. They also have a cute little boutique and some really nice photos of Yosemite and surrounding areas.

This is a must visit. Oldest Bar in California? Gotta check that out. I love the atmosphere, the folks who frequent locals and visitors. My favorite food and drink fair is the hand made potato chips with the BBQ sauce and Spicy Bloody Mary and the burger. Good stuff. Reasonable prices. I have not gone yet. Plan too. I hear that have some pretty good live music on the weekends. Check out their Facebook page for what is headlining.

This has become by far my all time favorite dinner house for its atmosphere, attentive staff, and awesome food. I found myself comparing other restaurants to Seven Sisters not on purpose, but mainly because they can't compete. For example, I love crab cakes and I order them often. Not any more. The best crab cakes I had were at Seven Sisters and until I can learn to make them, I will just wait to I can go back and visit them. We have been there 3 times now. Twice for dinner and once for Sunday brunch. Brunch is insane. So good. We came across this place by accident when we went to Black Oak Casino to play slots for a little bit. Some folks there told us we needed try this place because you wouldn't believe how good it is. It's a little pricey. Well worth it. Oh, and they will let you split plates. Minor charge. That way you can get those crab cakes, share a meal (each on its on plate - looks all pretty) and share a wonderful desert. Save a few bucks and a lot of calories. Wonderful place for a special occasion. Tell them in advance they like to make things special for you.

Drinks & Nightlife

Oldest Bar in California is a must visit. Very cool establishment. Good Menu. I like the homemade potato chips with the bbq sauce and a spicy bloody mary. Also enjoy the salad bar and depending on the day - soup is awesome. I had prime-rib soup that was superb. They have live music on weekends. They also have a pool table.

Parks & Nature

I visited the park today 10/28/2018, it was spectacular. When you go the entrance make sure to get a map. You can take many different trails 3-6 miles or so to some of the sights many of these trails are level and easier walks. The views will make you forget how far you walked. Don't forget to check out the Sequioa's in newly opened Mariposa Grove. Your entrance fee entitles you to come back for 7 days!

Sightseeing

Columbia State Park is a Historic Old Gold Mining town. Everything is set up that way. The mercantile, gold planning, saloon, blacksmith, candy store, etc..... Great place to go for a walk. You can catch a stage coach ride or the have daily reenacted gunfights (check their calendar) You should try panning for gold. So much fun. Also, if you haven't tried Sasparilla from the saloon is on tap. Nelson's candy store has old fashioned candy you can't find just any place and they do give samples. Just ask. My favorites are the black Scottie licorice and toffee. The Seven Sisters shop sells home made soaps and candles huge assortment. There are several restaurants. The Columbia hotel is supposed to be very good. I have not eaten there yet. It's on my list. So many places......

I literally bumped into this place. What a great find? Art, clothing, jewelry, unique gift, and cool stuff for your pup. Look for this place. I bought my baby shower gift here, they wrapped it up really cute for me. It was a hit.
