Fab walks on the moor itself, the cow is the large cliff the calf is the smaller rock in front (take care if you do climb it). Small café in the car park too serving tea and coffee and snacks.

Great Playground for kids and nature trails, close to the Golf Club and a garden centre with lovely cafe for lunch out or take a picnic.

Harrogate is about 20 minutes away, it is a fabulous spa town with cosmopolitan bars and restaurants, many Theatres and the Harrogate Conference Centre. There is also the Great Yorkshire Show Ground with events all year round, the main event being the Great Yorkshire Show in July each year. There is also the Famous Betty's tea rooms - but be prepared to queue and it isnt cheap - but a must at least once!

Haworth is the home of the Brontes from the Parsonage museum to the cobbled street lined with old fashioned shops (be warned the cobbled street is a steep hill!) You can walk from the Worth Valley Railway station through a pretty park, but its quite a hill too, lovely way to visit though. Several tea rooms and restaurants to break up the journey.

Keighley and Worth Valley Railway - Steam Trains - The Railway Children was filmed on this railway. Santa Trains run in December with a present for every child. Fab way to meet Santa. There are several stations you can jump on and off at, so you can visit a few points although its not a really long line.

Leeds has loads of shops, small to large. John Lewis opening late 2016, Victoria Quarter lovely covered shopping area, Trinity is the newest shopping precinct, with trendy shops, bars and restaurants even a jewelers with a champagne bar if you are spending enough money!
