A good place to spend an afternoon, this area has a few restaurants and is located in a big grassy field, near a farm. The views are great and don't let the name fool you, The Farm is a nice place.

A really fun museum with over 300 hands-on exhibits to keep you engaged. You could easily spend a day here and not be bored. Often there are special exhibits, and the museum is quite well funded :)

Great but well-used hiking trail that is very popular in Phoenix. For good reason too, since it gives you a view of the entire Phoenix valley, as well as many local and distant mountain ranges.

Another great and close hiking destination. Miles and miles of trails and a fairly high peak to summit if you like. Rivals Camelback mountain in height, but not as strenuous.
