The Vesuvius, the Pompeii City seal, it's one of hotspots we highly suggest to no miss.
It's very important to know that it's NOT necessary buy the tickets in advance or when you arrive in the modern city (in the station area or along the main streets there are some private tour operator, having the specific intention to sell their tickets, in no way cheap).
To save your money you can take the pubblic bus line to arrive till the top of the volcano.
