Since I moved to Kealakekua Bay, I wake up at sunrise and retire at dark. Rarely hang out late anymore. But if you love Jazz, this is the place. Low key and non-touristy. Great local musicians.

Sightseeing
Kealakekua Bay is the reason why I bought the house here. The water is clearest of all places I have swim in different parts of the world. It is pristine in front of Captain Cook's monument.

This is a rock beach where many visitors go. The entire bay is full of coral. People snorkel or dive and spend many hours here. You will see turtles, whales in seasons and our beloved Spinner dolphins-PLEASE KEEP a respectful distance and show them Aloha.

This is my favorite beach. a wide walk in beach with volcanic black sand. good snorkel and sometimes dolphin and whale sightings.
