This is a grocery store, but you can grab a very cost effective dinner and drink here - I believe a pint of beer is about $2 and a sandwich is about 7. #5 and #6 bus from campus will take you right out front.

Food Scene

Casual restaurant with Cuban inspired sandwiches, snacks, and happy hour. If you are looking for an earlier dinner, they serve a happy hour menu on Sunday-Thursday from 4- 6 PM which includes a “beef frita” (essentially a really tasty burger) for $5 and fries for $1.50. If you like milkshakes, don’t hesitate to order one of their delicious batidos!

Casual, tasty Mexican food, great lunch specials. (being from California, I have very strong opinions about tacos – the tacos at Chela’s are eminently edible, and the staff are extremely nice and attentive).
