Salt Air is one of my all-time favorite places. It is a farm-to-table restaurant with a beautiful ambiance. I have never had a subpar meal there and love to bring my friends! Make reservations (like, a day or two before if you can)!!

Crystal City Diner is one of our favorite places to have breakfast/brunch. It’s a true diner and not an upscale brunch location with frills. You can get a quality breakfast for about $20 for 2 people.

Taco Reco is our favorite lunch spot! You can grab a delicious Baja fish taco and Grilled Cheese taco (Sherrette’s favorite) or the Pork Carnita and Chicken Tinga (Maribel’s fave) and walk across the parking lot to the Big Chill Surf Cantina (21+) for a cold brew or an excellent Classic Margarita. Live music every night!

Drinks & Nightlife

Purple Parrot has a little bit of everything to eat, drink, and usually some karaoke. If you go to the very back of the restaurant you will find yourself transported to an adorable beach bar style nook complete with sand and half-naked servers! (Gay Friendly)

Parks & Nature

The Breakwater Trail - Like to run/walk/bike? If you cut through the Wawa/daycare parking lot, take a right on Wolfe Neck Rd and head down through the residential area, you will run right into the Breakwater Trail. It has nice, soft, wide paths that can take you all the way to Rehoboth Ave (with a stop off at the outlets!) or down to Lewes.

Gordon’s Pond is a great way to access the beach without the congestion of the boardwalk traffic. Anyone with out of state tags should plan on paying $8 - $10 to enter any of the state parks. You can enjoy some beautiful trails here too! (Gay/Family Friendly)

Entertainment & Activities

Funland - If you are a kid at heart like we are, you will love Funland. It is a serious throwback to theme parks circa.1980’s with treasures like an old-school arcade, haunted house, and a rickety (but safe) roller coaster.

Shopping

Shopping - Lucky for you, you can throw a rock and hit an outlet store around here. If you are looking for something a little less mainstream there are a TON of cute local shops and boutiques along Rehoboth Ave. There are also about 20 antique stores between Rehoboth and Lewes that run the gamut between the pick-through type to the more upscale type. Don’t forget, no sales tax here!
