Holiday rentals with lake access in Sabine Parish

First let me say my family has never stayed at a Airbnb but now I have stay at one I have very high expectations due to how amazing this place was!! The owners life next door and are the sweetest they keep to themselves unless you need something it is like you are staying in your own home. We arrived and the neighborhood was very quiet the home is located on a dead end road so no traffic. When entering the house it smelt so clean and was so clean everything was tidy and well organized. They provided a lot of things I had brought from home such as soaps and laundry detergent stuff I didn’t expect to be there along with little goodie’s on the table waiting for us. Now on to the outside the porch was perfect for sitting and looking at the lake with a cup of coffee. The dock was great for fishing off of and the cleaning station was great too have. My kids really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat along with swimming right my the dock. This place is just amazing!

This place is amazing. The home its self is so cozy, and the master bed was so comfortable. The location is breathtaking. The water was very low and we were given a heads up before. But we didn’t let it stop us. Fishing was great. We enjoy a family of bald eagles each day and even got greeted every morning by the friendly neighborhood dogs. This place is just what we needed. Already looking to book for 3 more times next year!!! The pool was soo clear even though it was to cold to swim.

We stayed for three nights. Everything was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Debbie was responsive to questions/comments. We'd stay here again for sure.

I cannot say enough great things about "Shore Thing" and it's host Amy! From start to finish, Amy was an amazingly responsive and gracious host! She made sure we had everything we needed to make our vacation an incredible experience. Coming from someone who is in the "people business", I can always tell when someone takes pride in what they do. Amy is DEFINITELY one of those people! Everything in this place was clean, in order, and well-maintained. From the modern updated bathroom and kitchen appliances to the multitude of other amenities, "Shore Thing" is the best place we've ever stayed on Toledo Bend Lake! I HIGHLY recommend this property and especially it's host. Thank you again Amy and "Shore Thing" for making our vacation spectacular!

Great stay! Plenty of space and privacy for our group. Exactly as described! Check in and out was simple and Thomas was very responsive and accommodating.

Everything was great! Place was amazing had everything we needed for a relaxing trip on the lake! Right next to a boat launch only sad this we couldn’t cast off of it 😢 but nothing to ruin the trip over! We had a great time by the camp fire and cooking lots of food!

We had a great stay at Erin's!!! She was super responsive. House was very clean and organized and the view from the back deck was great!! We would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for a family reunion. The house was great for our needs. The 2 full baths were nice. We each had our own bathroom. Kitchen was adequately stocked. Beds were comfortable. As listed, there is no WiFi, however the cell service was great. I had no problems uploading or downloading videos. I was able to live stream YouTube for karaoke with just the cell service. Overall a pleasant stay.

This place was very homey and comfortable It was very relaxing It was just what we were looking for.

Very peaceful and great get away for a few days! She was very attentive to things I needed. Lots of fish caught off the pier, kayaks and paddle boat were provided as well.

The cabin was extremely clean. There were plenty of towels, dishes, etc. The door was unlocked when we arrived and we were unable to lock it from the outside when we left. I also would have preferred if there were curtains over the windows in the living area. It seemed a little higher than I would have expected for the size and location but it being so clean made me feel a little better about the price. The porch is nice. The check in/out instructions were very clear. The complaints we have are very minor. We would definitely rent again.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Marsha greeted us with a warm welcome. She gave us a tour of the property and was very helpful. My son is still talking about her muffins she made for us on our arrival! I will definitely be back and thanks for a wonderful experience!
