“We planned our trip to Safranbolu with my wife and my 3 year old son and we were the world dessert and the best Sari & Mehmet couple for four days. It was a pleasure to meet such a pleasant, beautiful and friendly atmosphere, to be guests in the perfect houses of this wonderful couple and to visit Safranbolu. We went to Safranbolu during the hot days of the summer and thanks to the wonderful location of the house, we were never disturbed by the heat, and we had a great time both in the house and in the orchards, the garden covered with grass, accompanied by music and joy. Sari and Mehmet Bey helped us with everything and showed extraordinary hospitality, and the time we spent with them was very valuable. Families with children, couples or solo travelers will enjoy being guests of these beautiful people. We thank them very much for everything and look forward to being their guests again ...”

“The house is very close to the central area. The house is a local characteristic building. The room was very clean. In particular, the landlord is the most passionate and best I have ever been. I have provided a lot of help from the time I booked the room and answered the questions very promptly. I got up in the morning to prepare breakfast and bought a bus ticket for us. The landlord has a lot of cats, so cute~”

Gorgeous ceiling dressings at the entrancegive you the clues of a matchless experience. You will find the best examples of the wooden applications of the Ottoman civil architecture in its rooms; and on the divans in front of the windows you can have your Turkish coffee and view the city, and re-construct the bridge between the past and today.
“We’d definitely recommend staying in this magnificent and well kept 250 year old restored mansion. Mehmet and staff were super welcoming and friendly. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and decorated tastefully with gorgeous furniture. Great location with views over the valley, and only a few minutes walk down to the centre in old town. Breakfast out in the courtyard was a treat with yummy local fresh produce. We’d definitely choose Leyla Hanim if we were to go back!”
