In recent years it has been converted into four modern apartments but holding on to as much of it’s industrial history as possible. The Smelting Works is in the centre of Truro, though quietly tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of the Town Centre which is just five minutes walk away. Train station a 5-10 minute walk away and close to all transport links.

The place is conveniently situated in a residential area in central Truro and can be used as a base to explore the city and the county of Cornwall. A very light space during the day and a cosy retreat at night. It is 5/10 minute walk to the city centre with shops and restaurants. There is plenty of parking . We will leave everything you will need to have an easy and enjoyable stay. We are located in a quiet private road. Just to advise, I do not charge a cleaning fee but the extra service fee you are charged is taken by bnb .

The Captains Quarters is located in our beautiful Edwardian house, built in 1882 and once owned by a local steamship's Captain.
