“This is a real hidden gem. Very central yet also very quiet, spotlessly clean; well laid out, excellent facilities with a galley kitchen area, and thoughtful touches to greet you - bread, jam, fresh juice. The hosts respond quickly to any query, but respect the guest's privacy, and check in / out is easy. I spent 3 nights here while on a training course, and it was ideal due to its location and quietness. I'm returning next month again for work, but would also want to come here for a short holiday break - just 10 minutes walk from the coastal path.”
Built brand new for 2019, The Nook is a cosy self contained 1 bedroom chalet just 50 yards from the cliff tops. It’s a stones throw from Porth beach and the entrance to the legendary Porth Island, where locals and tourist gather with their cameras to capture that perfect sunset. This location really is as good as it gets ❤️😊 Guests can also borrow the Kayak’s for an evening paddle round the island. The Nook is set into the rising hillside giving it the cosy and private feel its name suggests.
“Very cosy little spot in the Nook. Space is what you'd expect from pictures, well finished and nice appliances. We stayed with out 6 month old son, as a hub to visit the Eden Project and also visited the Bedruthan steps and Fistral beach. Good location and decent drives for all these things. The host is really nice and friendly on welcome and during the stay. It was really windy when we went, and the walk up the main road to the side gate entrance was a few trips which isn't ideal, but manageable. We made use of the hot tub the first night- braving the elements, but after that it was too bad weather. Hot tub is shared so you can write your intended use times on the board which is a useful touch (our neighbours didn't do this though). All in all a good stay, very short walk to Porth beach and pub would visit again :)”
A central location with just 15/20 minutes drive from Newquay, Truro, Padstow and St Austell. Beautifully presented 1 bedroom house situated on the Goss Moor Trail. Completely self-contained with your own kitchen, lounge/dinning room overlooking garden, bedroom and bathroom with own private front door. Close to the A30 so immediate quick access to explore different parts of this beautiful county.
“A really lovely host with tips to make the most of your stay. Cottage pristine and interior tastefully thought through. Such a convenient location as close to A30 which meant easy access to Newquay and lots of local bays and harbours... We managed to visit 9 in our short stay. Also close to the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. Post & Starboard was a recommendation for fish and chips in the village.. Lovely and very busy. Thanks Jane x”
