2 bed/2 bath family friendly and walk to beach!

GailRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Jan was an amazing host always willing to go the extra mile. Anything I mentioned was immediately dealt with within a day. Jan has an operations person -Sandra who checked in on us every few days and addressed any concerns immediately such as lovely lady! The apartment was very clean and the cleaning staff very efficient The linens were top notch and abundant. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming. I would strongly recommend Jan’s place

Dreams(Moontown)Beach Apartments. No.2

I wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for the incredible stay we had at your Airbnb. After traveling to 10 countries, I can confidently say that this is one of the best places we've ever stayed. The views from our room were absolutely stunning, and we loved spending time by the pool. The highlight of our mornings was waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the fresh air on the balcony. It truly felt like paradise. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be recommending your Airbnb to our friends and family, and we hope to return in the future!

Gorgeous 1 bed on country estate

KristaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
There are many places to stay on Barbados, but few offer such a tranquil stay as Canvas & Cave. The clean, well appointed apartments each offer a good sized covered verandah from which to watch the sun set over the Caribbean. The well maintained pool, with an equally good view over the fields to the sea, was a very pleasant option on days when we chose simply to relax "at home". Standing alone at the crest of a hill and surrounded by cane fields and trees, this adapted former plantation house enjoys a constant refreshing breeze, especially at night as you drift off in total quiet, disturbed only by the chorus of tree frogs. This is not for those seeking the dense tourist areas of the South or West coasts. A car is essential, and be prepared for a public road up to the property which reflects the state of many of the minor roads on the island. But the journey is worth it, and soon just becomes part of the experience provided by a welcoming host.

Gibbs Palms cottage on the West Coast

JudithRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Really enjoyed our stay at Adela's beautiful cottage, we were so surprised when the gates opened revealing the most beautiful tropical garden complete with parrots, humming birds and the occasional family of monkeys passing through! The space and layout of the cottage worked really well for us and we very much appreciated how well equipped it was, both inside and out. It is a short walk to the beautiful Gibbs beach and close to Mullins beach - also walkable, where you have The Sea Shed restaurant and the wonderful Adrian's Corner, where you can hire sunbeds and who make brilliant Pina Coladas! We now feel that we have found our home from home in Barbados and have already booked for next year!

Masada Getaway

KellyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed from the 9th -23 of February and got back today. We had an excellent stay and everything you needed it wanted was at the villa . All bedrooms comfortable. Air conditioning broke in our room and fixed next day no problem. We were give. A bottle of rum And some bottle of coke for the inconvenience. Nothing was too much trouble . Lonely neighbour next door who was on hand to help at any time. I would recommend this villa with three spacious bedrooms all with air con . Lovely pool and sun loungers , large lounge with Netflix, Amazon and Disney with your own passwords. No problems with WiFi. Kitchen was big. Only thing I couldn’t really work out was the washing machine but it wasn’t a big deal for us I managed to use it twice but sometimes it didn’t work but could be more me doing it wrong tnan the machine itself.. Not far from the beach and 20 min walk To local shopping market. We hired a car the second week which I would personally recommend.

Delightful 1-bed beachside rental - Sea Shell

PeterRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Sea Shell is a very nice comfortable apartment in a fantastic location. Although a little dated (as in my experience are most accommodations in Barbados) everything you need is provided and overall works well. Aircon in both bedroom and living room is very good, the bed very comfortable and the whole apartment is clean and tidy. There are a couple of things in my view need sorting, an information pack (wifi code / restaurants etc) would be helpful and the kitchen power trips out if you use more than one appliance (even using all 4 toaster slots) Overall though I would recommend staying

Tropical garden villa 7 min walk to fabulous beach

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay at Stradbally was truly memorable. Maria was great with lots of advice before we arrived and Helen the manager met us at the villa on our arrival. The villa is in a great location, very safe and in a friendly neighbourhood. It had everything we needed and is only a short walk from beautiful Heywood’s beach, where we swam often, & Speightstown, which has great cafes, beach bars, restaurants and good local supermarkets. We had three lovely evenings out, at local & co, Baia, and The Fish Pot watching the incredible sunsets, but not to be missed (and we went three times), is the Caboose, serving the best fish cutters and rum punch from a renovated old boat. We hired a car to get around for sightseeing, but also made use of the very efficient local taxis when we went out in the evenings. If we didn’t go out we sat on the balcony and watched the sun go down through the palm trees, a lovely way to end the day. If we visit Barbados again I would definitely want to stay here again.
