Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Happy Valley is situated in the heart of the Normandy countryside at the end of a no-through road so no noisy passing traffic! It shares the site with our main home and 2 other gites. We're about 45 minutes from Mont St Michel; an hour from Bayeaux, Caen, Mayenne and Fougeres. It's another half an hour to the famous D-Day beaches. There are plenty of places to visit and things to do and of course lots of French markets and vide-greniers!

My secluded cottage lies in the countryside of Normandy on a completely private terrain of, 8000m2 with an own driveway. The remote house sits alone in the hills with no neighbors and has a garden with cherry, apple and walnut trees. Explore the lush green grasslands and charming French hamlets right from the driveway. The house is within easy reach of the Normandy beaches, national parks, castles and medieval cities. A basic retreat for lovers of nature and peace.

Constructed from durable and recycled materials, this refuge has been designed to accommodate you for a peaceful stay in a green setting. However, please be aware that the site is not connected to water and electricity networks, so you will need to be mindful of your energy consumption during your stay.

Old authentic stone house, on the edge of the forest, for hiking, mountain biking. Peaceful and quiet vacation rental, for 6 people with large fireplace in the dining room (wood available), which can also be used as a barbecue. For bookings of 3 days or more, bed and bath linens are included and beds are made. Gîte at an equal distance (less than an hour's drive) from Mont Saint Michel and the landing beaches. Pets are allowed except cats.

House of the Château de Vassy, Normandy countryside

We welcome you 30 minutes from Mont Saint Michel, in the heart of the Normandy countryside between Rennes and Caen. This 110 m2 house is an outbuilding of the Château de Vassy in the heart of an estate of more than 2 hectares of land. You can reconnect with nature and enjoy walks and quiet life in the countryside or visit nearby places, Granville, Avranches, Villedieu-les-Poêles or the beaches of Carolles or Jullouville.

This peaceful accommodation offers a relaxing stay for the whole family. You have a large outdoor area with lawn and natural shade, a barbecue area. In the morning you are lulled by the sound of the wind in the trees and the birdsong. Before arriving at the house there are two small rivers where the water flows slowly with a small trout occasionally coming out of the water.

Located halfway between Caen and Mont-Saint-Michel, in the southwest of Calvados, you will stay in a magnificent granite house (called the Bleu de Vire) from 1832 (classified as 3* furnished tourism). You will have access to almost the entire house as well as its beautiful one hectare garden, wooded and quiet, ideal for nature lovers.

A renovated old cider barn, with plenty of original character beams. A cosy lounge and well equipped kitchen are found on the ground floor. Access to the first floor is up a spiral stair case, leading to a large open bedroom and bathroom, plus a separate Sipper bath located on a small mezzanine.
