The houses London and Hamburg are situated on the Biliran Island. Biliran and Leyte belong to the largest group of Philippine islands called Visaya. Biliran Island is connected via a bridge to the north coast of Leyte its longitude is 32 Km and latitude 18 Km. The capital city of the island is Naval. There are lots of magnificent water falls, stunning rivers, beaches, spectacular rice terraces, hot water springs on the Island and a well world known diving spot between Malapasqua Island and Biliran Island. Both Houses are located on the doorstep of Visaya sea in Agpangi about 2,4 Km north of Naval city center. Between Naval and Agpangi lies the Anas River which flows towards the sea. During low tide sand banks and patches of pebbles appear in front of the property, creating a beautiful and safe place for children to play as the sea level rises slowly. Further afield you will find corals right in front of the seaside holiday houses. There are various moderate markets, shops, restaurants, bars, night life, internet café’s, as well as the regional hospital in Naval. There are plenty of activities to do on Biliran Island from snorkelling to cycling, hiking, canoeing, fishing, playing basketball, volleyball, badminton, tennis or simple enjoy the sun shine with a refreshing drink beside you! There is something for everyone. The easiest way to get to Naval from our location is to walk circa 5 minutes, along the seafront through the small village of Agpangi, towards one of the main side road and then take the tricycle into the center about 6 minutes ride or vice versa. In order to gain access to the holiday houses, it will be necessary for you to take a leisurely stroll of approximately 5 minutes along the beachfront as stated above. Needless to say you could also use the traditional local boat to reach Naval from the house. Other necessities are available to purchase from the office, dishes are fresh prepared at a small cost and we are more than happy to arrange excursions to the tiny private islands, explore a natural hot spring or visit spectacular water falls, which are around 45 minutes away from our location. The best way to reach us is to fly from Manila to Tacloban or Cebu to Naval via a ferry. A private car can be arranged to meet you at the airport in Tacloban and bring you to Naval in about 2 hours. Using public transports from Tacloban will take approximately 3 hours. On request, a family member will meet you at Manila airport. He/She will be able to book or arrange your onward journey to Tacloban then to Naval. In addition if you plan to stay a few days in Manila we can arrange to show you the sights and sounds of the city before heading to our beloved island. We thank you for looking at our home, and would love to have you stay with us. We are nestled in a 4 hectre copra plantation facing the sea.. Our rooms are spacious and kept clean. We have a private entrance, swimming pool. (cleaned everyday). If guest require something to eat our cook will be happy to prepare you anything from the menu. The beach is only 10 metres from our copra and faces part of the pacific ocean. All our guests are treated as part of the family. love Dolly and mick.

Bayview and Sunset staycation

The property is part of our family home compound, but separate from our family house. It is the back part of our property facing the carigara bay which nestled the Biliran and Samar Islands. The shore are of mixture of pebbles and gray sand or gray sand alone. You will encounter fishermen catching fresh fish as the area are near a fish sanctuary. The seashore are home to different fish species and other seashells wherein locals can be seen catching them during afternoon.
