Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in San Carlos

The host is very attentive and kind, the place is super nice, impeccable, private and very central. The ease of entering the Airbnb, the parking lot is spacious, a great place to stay with family and friends.

The place is very well equipped with everything one especially needs the space to work. I loved the garden.

This apartment does not offer self-check-in because there are several quirks which need an explanation before moving in. I generally prefer self-check-in but after receiving these explanations, I can understand why that is not a realistic option in this case. For me, it turned out to only be a minor inconvenience. The apartment is entirely adequate for its purpose. The location is only a one minute walk from the La Fortuna central park. You can park your car right outside the apartment entrance. Both the apartment and the parking area are reasonably secure. No one would mistake the accommodations for being deluxe but they very suitable for an enjoyable visit to La Fortuna.

Where can I start....This is my first time to La Fortuna and we had a great vacation with the help of Gregory. Gregory's is a great host and his property is one of a kind which suits well for La Fortuna environment with lot of nature to enjoy inside his property. He helped in almost everything including recommending a nice Chef Gabriel.

I had an amazing stay at this apartment in La Fortuna! The location is unbeatable—within easy walking distance to local restaurants, making dining out so convenient. The apartment itself is spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Whether you’re here for adventure or relaxation, this place is the perfect base. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Gregory's place is very nice and spacious. We are a big group with 6 families and stayed at Gregory's property for 5 days and had great time. He took care of our group from the moment we booked Airbnb till we leave property. He is always available on phone and helped us during our stay. His property was one of the nicest property I have seen with huge trail overlooking mountains and we can enjoy fresh fruits like coconuts etc... His staff at the property are very nice and was available to us all the time. Its a huge property with multiple Condos and I recommend this property to anyone ranging from 1 to 10 families.

Place was at a great spot. Infront of a firestation. Not noisy. Walkable to many restaurants. Felt safe. Host was always there to assist. They live in the same apartment building. La fortuna downtown was very center to all activities in the arenal area. Love the place. Totally worth for the price. There is AC in both the rooms only not in living room. As we traveled in march , living room was not hot and we kept the doors open. Would definately come back. Love the Place .

Very clean! Host was so nice. Kids loved the pool. The host had wonderful local recommendations! Pool was clean. House and bathrooms were clean. Beds are firm, which we love!

Very excellent recommended place. I felt at home, good, much better xq where I live there is a lot of bulla and there it was to listen to nature at night too quiet. I could sleep better than in my house. What you see in the photos is the reality, large and clean, very attentive to the whole host. There were some small details but the solution if I recommend entering early from 12 md to 3 pm and going out late at 12 md. Because of the climate and place, the pool can be used little, the climate in Costa Rica and where the accommodation is located is essential And the very friendly host gave us a little more time since we passed with rain hehe and we couldn't do anything outside and the day we went out he did a little longer then we stayed a little longer I left him sweep and washed and accommodated almost everything in the kitchen Really the best option to relax RECOMMENDED

Andy was a fantastic host. It’s quite a unique property. There are a number of units in the complex. They all have access to a beautiful, large pool, workout facility and yoga studio. In addition, this house has its own hot tub and small pool. The house was perfect for our family of four. In fact 2-4 additional guests could comfortably be accommodated. The kitchen had all the necessary features. The space is clean and well taken care of. An abundance of sitting space from chairs to hammocks to swings made all time on the property feel spacious and comfortable. Andy did a a fantastic job arranging excursions. Rafting, zip lines, horseback riding and atv adventures made the time fly. A couple tips- bring cash as credit incurs a 13% surcharge. We had a local private chef, Arturo Paniagua, prepare a number of delicious meals for the family. It took all the stress out of meal prep. I highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at Jorge's home in the La Fortuna area! We were there for 2.5 weeks with two families (4 adults and 4 kids in total). The home was excellent for our needs. We preferred staying a bit out of the main tourist areas so we could enjoy some more local vibes, and Tanque was perfect (we had a rental car, and that is pretty necessary to get around in this area). Thank you Jorge for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home!

Everything was as it came in the description and photos, it was very comfortable and had what was necessary. I would wash it again when I get back to fortune now with my family . Thank you very much , the river was very nice and easily accessible going down from the Airbnb a few steps away.
