Marta’s place was beautiful and comfortable! Very close to all activities . Carlos the neighbour brought us out for a tour in the cloud forest and was very knowledgeable and accommodating! Would definitely recommend this place !

I went with my fiancee and we had a great stay. it felt very private and romantic. We were offered horseback tours by our host for a very fair price. We'd be happy to recommend to prospective couple or group of friends.

Return customers. This is our second stay, and we had just as good a time as the first. The property is incredible, especially for bird watchers. We saw Macaws each day, along with many other birds. The home is very clean and comfortable. You can walk to town, or do a quick car ride. There are great restaurants and local Sodas close by too. A huge bonus was that Christine was able to help us with any tours we wanted. She checked in to see how things were, and if there was anything needed. Highly recommend. Also, cute Domingo, the dog next door, greeted us every day with his happy face.

Amazing old wooden building in a quiet neighbourhood. The interior is amazing with a vaulted ceiling and three good bedrooms. The back veranda gives a great outdoor area to enjoy the perfectly manicured tropical gardens.... Can't go wrong with this place!

Very nice villa. Everything looked even better than the photos. I would highly recommend the space. The finishes and small details in craftsmanship are all very high quality. The builder and designer are talented. The hosts were attentive and asked if we ever needed anything. This Airbnb is a 10/10.

Wir haben die Flexibilität beim Check-in und bei der Buchung sehr geschätzt. Der Fluss hinter dem Haus ist super schön und die Lage ist super für viele Unternehmungen in der Umgebung.

Perfect location. Quick drive to town, but tucked away and private. Waking to the sound of birds every morning was fantastic. Really a great place.

The house could use a little TLC, some things didn’t work like the ice maker, speaker and dryer. Which didn’t bother us but if you’re a little pickier it may have been an issue. The pool was lovely and Danny the caretaker was on the ball! The village is small and quiet about an hour from tourist areas which I absolutely loved!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 3 nuits à la Villa Fortuna (du 10 au 12 février), en groupe de 12 personnes (3 couples, 4 femmes et 2 hommes). La maison est spacieuse et bien équipée, à l’exception de la petite chambre à l’étage avec un lit superposé, qui est assez exiguë pour deux personnes. L’accueil par Matías a été parfait, avec une grande flexibilité sur l’horaire d’arrivée. La maison était extrêmement propre, et nous avons beaucoup apprécié les espaces extérieurs : la piscine, les hamacs et le terrain de volley-ball qui ont ajouté une vraie plus-value à notre séjour. Matías a été très réactif et disponible, nous donnant de nombreuses recommandations sur les activités à faire dans la région. Nous avons tout adoré, et nous recommandons vivement ce logement à ceux qui cherchent un endroit confortable et agréable pour explorer La Fortuna. Merci encore pour tout !

We had a great time staying in Jessy’s place - the view is absolutely stunning and it is well located (with a car) for any activity in or around Monteverde. Jessy is incredibly responsive as well which is a great plus. One point to note (although this didn’t affect our stay) is that the drive up to the flat is quite steep and so you would probably want a bigger car with a high clearance. As other reviews have said, there also aren’t any curtains but we didn’t find this to be an issue at all, especially with an eye mask. We’d really really recommend staying here!

Beautiful place in a secure gated community!

Villa Roger is incredible. I highly recommend it. The home is well built, clean, comfortable, and has all the amenities you could need. The location is perfect. The home sits within a peaceful farm with a direct view of the side of the volcano. You are surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees. There are lots of birds to watch from the expansive porch. The covered outdoor eating area was great for us to BBQ and for us to sit under during the short tropical rainfalls. It is only a short ride into town to partake in the local activities and to go to restaurants and the grocery store. The free hot springs were a delight. Thank you to Don Rogelio and his son Joseph for sharing their beautiful home. Thank you to Lester for being a responsive host.

We had a great family vacation at this beautiful property. The setup is ideal as the great room is large enough for everyone to spend lots of quality time together. There's a pool table, large TV and lots of seating. The location worked well for us and was about 15 to 20 minutes from most of the activities we decided upon (which William and Laura helped arrange). I would highly recommend William and Laura's place for a get together with a large group.

We had an absolutely incredible stay. The place was gorgeous—beautifully designed with such attention to detail. It was spotless, peaceful, and felt like our own little private retreat. There’s something truly magical about it; it’s one of those rare places that feels even better in person than in the photos. We didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene and unforgettable escape!

We had a great stay! Alfonso’s place is in great location very convenient to the restaurants and shops of la fortuna but in a private gated compound surrounded by trees. Our kid loved the pool, and the private trail down to see the river was nice too. So much to do in the area.

Lugar súper recomendable. Tranquilo. Tiene todo lo que necesitas para pasar un rato agradable. La anfitriona dejó unos presentes increíbles para nuestro disfrute y comodidad. Realmente una maravilla de lugar. Definitivo regresaría. Viaje con perros y también para ellos el lugar estuvo genial y había cosas pensando en su comodidad. This Airbnb was in a great location! Several restaurants within walking distance and we loved the El Salto Rope Swing which was only a 6 min walk. We were also very close to the downtown, still had to drive but it wasn't bad. There is plenty to do around the area. Most of the springs are within a 25 min drive. The house itself was very nice. We felt safe and the pool felt amazing after a long day of exploring. I would definitely recommend this house.

La casa es muy céntrica, espaciosa y muy bonita. Tiene todo lo que se necesita y es ideal para grupos grandes. La comunicación con Rebeca fue muy fluida y atenta. Únicamente hay que considerar que la salida es temprano (10 am) y en nuestro caso, no hubo flexibilidad para hacer 'late checkout'.

Loved our stay at Peter's house! Location is perfect - close to town yet extremely private. Peter was very responsive and met with us for a smooth check-in. His home looks exactly like the photos. It was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. By far the best part of the property is the gorgeous backyard, patio, and pool. We spent most of our time there enjoying the lush landscape and wildlife. Would absolutely recommend!

Casa Colette was a great place to stay! It is a beautiful home and the hosts provided us with everything we needed to be comfortable. It was walkable to most places during the daytime and we would usually drive to dinner at night.

I would definitely not only stay here again but recommend Marco and Leticia’s Airbnb to anyone and everyone I know traveling to La Fortuna! It is a hidden gem. Howler monkeys right on property, Marco feeds the tropical birds fresh fruit each morning and Leticia is on top of every request made. A+++

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood for a stay in La Fortuna. Everything was fine and as described in the advert. Since the house is not directory located in the center it is easier to get around with a car.
