Bauhr Ranch is a working horse facility in the Sierra foothills outside of historic Chinese Camp and 1 hour from Yosemite. There are two guest cabins for anyone - horse or non horse folks. They are Hostel style - guests need to bring their own bedding or sleeping bags and pads. They have water and limited power. There's a separate shared restroom & shower - outside kitchen/ seasonal fire pit. The cabins are a nice stop on the way to Yosemite or extended stays in which to enjoy the Gold Country.

Our canvas tents cabins are perfect for any outdoor enthusiast that wants adventure, convenience and a few amenities! Our tent cabins include wifi, limited electricity, portable lantern, four cots, four sleeping bags, and four camp pillows. Each site will also have a private picnic table, bear box and grill. Guests will also find a communal area with a fire pit, dish washing station and toilets. Please note there are no showers or laundry services available to campground guests.

(2023 summer, creek level is moderate to high) Take a nature hike to the top of the mountain and experience an ancient river bed while you watch the sun set!
