“This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a true, authentic, Belizean Jungle experience. Away from crowds of tourist! You get to sleep in a Authentic Mayan Thatched roof house! You wake up to the amazing sounds of the jungle and make your way through their beautifully kept property that has so many beautiful flowers, plants and trees only to be greeted by a wonderful, delicious, authentic breakfast. Marisa, Thomas and her children were so kind and helpful to my family. They were so accommodating and welcomed us with a delicious late night dinner at Check-in. I recommend having Marisa hire you a local tour guide if you are interested in exploring the area. Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable having grown up in the area. We chose the Cacao experience. You have to do this. Go meet Eladio, walk his piece of the jungle with him, let him show you all his plants, eat raw cacao beans with him, you will taste and feel all the love and energy he has put into his plants and farm. We ended the day swimming in the magical Rio Blanco Falls. Perfect Jungle experience. Thank you Marisa, Thomas and Family for sharing your place with us. It was a pleasure to meet your beautiful family. We will always carry a piece of the jungle in our memories and in our hearts.”

“Bryan has a beautiful home and such a lovely property. Having the option to be able to open up the doors in the morning and enjoy the fresh air is such a nice feature, but of course it’s nice to have air conditioning as well. Plenty of fruit to pick and enjoy when ripe, just ask the groundskeeper! Bryan was super easy to get in contact with and provided us with other numbers we may need during our stay. Highly recommended, I’d come back to stay any time I’m in Punta Gorda!”
We offer a Cottage with 2 bedrooms. Our guests can experience an authentic, Partially off-grid living experience in the tropical jungle. We designed a thatched roof cabana built with natural materials straight out of the jungle. Get close to nature and explore our garden and surrounding farm. The 4-acre property includes an outdoor fresh rainwater catchment system. Our neighbors, also farmers, are living as simply as possible, happily growing their own food, raising families and staying healthy.
“What a fantastic place! The cabanas are beautiful with thatched roof, really a unique accommodation experience on our trip. Really great location, quick and easy bus ride into Punta Gorda, and a very peaceful, relaxing and quiet place. Ashok who was our host on site was very friendly and helpful. He helped us out immensely by giving us rides to and from a cacao farm tour we had booked. Really a super nice and generous host. The complementary eggs, butter, milk and bread was really nice for our breakfasts. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in the vicinity of Punta Gorda, I would highly recommend this place!”
