Cabin in Húsavík, Sandoy

Almost 200 year old listed stone house in the historic village of Húsavík on Sandoy. You live close to nature in an old traditional Faroese stone house with grass on the roof, walls of wood and wooden and stone floors. The house is in a wing where you walk through the 'smoking room' (where the sleeping area is) into the living room (glass room). In the smoke living room there is high ceilings, while in the living room there is lower, overlooking the sea. Bathroom of older date, and a small kitchen with new elements and dishwasher.

Amazing views from cozy house!

Cozy old house from 1909. Fantastic view that simply MUST be experienced. Located in peaceful surroundings. HOWEVER THERE IS BUILDING ABOVE THE HOUSE The house has a small entrance hall, kitchen, dining room and living room. In the attic are 2 bedrooms. A SMALL TOILET WITHOUT A BATH/SHOWER! Folding mattress 150 wide, out in the attic. For those who want a cozy place, but can do without comfort. Church building from 1943, completely renovated in 2023. The house is located in the middle of the village, 100 meters from supermarket and 10 minutes walk to beach.
