Welcome to Grindstugan in Högbo. This small, newly-renovated house is located in the countryside just under 2 km south of Högbo Bruk in Sandviken. In Högbo, there is a plethora of different activities such as cross-country skiing, paddle tracks, MTB, canoeing, swimming, coffee and restaurant. The center of Sandviken is less than 5 km away. Here you will find shopping, grocery stores, the popular adventure pool Parkbadet, Göransson arena and several restaurants. Grindstugan is also only a 30-minute drive from Kungsberget ski resort.

Cabin by Testeboån

The cottage is located right by Testeboån, about 2 meters from the veranda. It is possible to both swim and fish, or sit in the sunset and look out on the water. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for a stay. Wi-Fi, TV and parking are included. It is possible to borrow a washing machine, charge an electric car or rent the sauna, for a small fee. If you want to visit Gävle, there are bike paths, or you can take the bus from the bus stop, which is within 200 meters. During the summer, we sell vegetables.

In Bergby, a small village between Gävle & Söderhamn you'll find this cabin. With only a couple of minutes from the highway E4 you will take yourself to this peaceful getaway faster than a blink. As our guest you are close to restaurants, stores and the amazing nature life this village offers. The cabin offers a big kitchen, WC with shower & washing machine and a lot of social spaces. Three adults sleep comfortable and extra beds can be provided upon request. Towels and bedsheets is included.

Ski apartment with sauna and balcony - Kungsberget

Comfortable and well-equipped apartment from 2016. The apartment has 6 regular beds divided into two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen and living room have an open plan that forms a nice gathering place between skiing, bike tours, day trips, fishing and so on. There is a balcony with a view of the mountain and a nice sauna as well as a washing machine. In addition, there are baby/child amenities, toys, board games, BT speakers, TV with streaming services and books to read.

Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. At Smens Gårdar we are all about bespoke group stays and celebrations. The concept was created from our passion for horses, the great outdoors, local organic food, beautiful old houses and the planning of tailored get togethers and celebrations. Only two hours north of Stockholm you find Smens Hästgård, a boutique Bed & Box offering set in the beautiful village of Fornby, in Southern Dalarna. Home closer to the water is hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunset is an extra plus. 2 supboard available for rent, as well as electric motor to the boat. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away.
