Forage for edible plants next to Latourell Falls

Latourell Falls, located in the Columbia Gorge, is a wonderful place to learn about the landscape and plants of the Pacific Northwest. Join a wilderness educator and forager as we visit this dramatic waterfall, sampling wild edible plants along the route. • We’ll meet at Guy W. Talbot State Park Picnic Area and then walk up the trail to Latourell Falls, which was formed by ancient volcanic activity. • As we move up the canyon, I’ll share stories about the history and ecology of the area and point out native edible plants. • We’ll explore both the base of the falls, taking in the stunning views of the waterfall from multiple angles. You’ll leave with a greater appreciation of the Pacific Northwest and a newfound knowledge of Oregon’s native plants. Note: Please note that this experience begins at the Guy W. Talbot Picnic Area in the tiny town of Latourell, NOT at the historic highway trailhead a short distance away. Private ceramic lessons on a peaceful farm

Come and spend a day at a farm and make art! We are a woman owned organic farm located near the Sandy River. We have converted a century old dairy barn into a ceramic studio. Let’s spend the day playing with clay and learning together. Here we have options based around your skill level and interests. I can lead you on the potters wheel or in hand building techniques. For an additional cost of $25 per person I will fire your projects in my kiln and you can choose a glaze color for your finished pieces. You can choose to pick up a couple weeks after your booking or pay to have your pieces shipped. Learn the joy/relaxation of cow milking

We will teach you how to milk a cow. *At the beginning we allow you time to spend with the animals. Petting, brushing, or just hanging out with them. *Next we take you through what we feed our animals and how we care for them. We can talk about what goes into the cleanliness of the process and getting everything ready. *We will then go through the experience of milking the cow (whether by hand or with the machine, you decide). Allowing you to do as much of the work as you feel comfortable with. *Afterwards we will strain the milk and get it cooled and clean up. *Before you leave we will give you the opportunity to taste any of the products from our farm with the option to purchase milk at a 50% discount. *Congrats! You will have milked a cow!

Multnomah Falls Columbia Gorge Waterfall Tour to Six Falls

We’re experiencing the best of the Columbia River Gorge on this waterfall tour. I’ll pick you up in Downtown Portland (or you can meet us at our Gresham location closer to the Waterfalls) and we’ll explore under the basalt cliffs in our big window van as we hop out to explore 6 waterfalls with short hikes. Get big views of the Columbia River Gorge throughout the route and especially at the Crown Point Vista House where we see the gorge lit at the golden hour on our nightly sunset tours. The experience is fun for anyone who loves beautiful views and waterfalls. Stops: Horsetail Falls Multnomah Falls Wahkeena Falls Bridal Veil Falls Shepperds Dell Latourell Falls Crown Point Vista House This is an active tour, of the 3.5 hours you'll be in the bus for less than an hour and exploring the beautiful parks surrounding the waterfalls for most of the tour. A little farm tour just outside the city. We bring education and fun of farm living to life. You are first greeted by the friendly protectors of the homestead. *We will introduce the homestead and the history of the home. *You will meet the animals that surround our lives up close including bunnies, goats and cows. You will learn how these animals live, where they are from and some pretty amazing facts as we tour around the farm. *You will see what we make and how we make it and why we choose to live this way, anything from yogurts and cheeses to candles and soaps. *In the end, you will have an amazing experience to share with others, fun stories to tell and options to buy goodies to take home.

**Please note that this is a 35-40 minute (approximate) experience** Join me on an aerial adventures of Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge. The Gorge is a treasure for most living in or near Portland, and on this 35-40 minute flight (approximate) through the “Gorge”, you will see exactly why that is. Plus, you'll understand why it is one of the most visited and photographed natural areas in the Pacific Northwest. The Gorge is home to dozens of cascading waterfalls, and on this tour you’ll fly ast Multnomah Falls, Latourell Falls and Horsetail Falls, hundreds of miles of hiking trails, and see why this is an outdoor paradise for millions every year. On the ground it's a breathtaking place, but from the air, it’s unbelievable...plus there are no crowds, and sometimes that can be a HUGE plus. :) Once you arrive we will introduce ourselves and discuss the safety of our experience, grab a free drink, and take a quick bathroom break for the first 15 minutes or so then load up the plane! Stunning Air Tour Over Portland, Oregon

**Please note that this is a 20 minute (approximate) experience** People love coming to Portland for the donuts, the food, and whatever else makes Portland, Portland. We get it...it can be a fun place. But what about an air tour? Well, you’re in luck, because that’s what we do! Once you arrive for your flight, you’ll be greeted by the pilot and discuss the safety of our experience, grab a free drink, and take a quick bathroom break for the first 15 minutes or so then load up the plane! Afterwards we will head out on a 20 minute flight tour (approximate) above Portland, Oregon! Throughout the flight, we'll do our part to make Portland one of your favorite cities– it's certainly one of ours, but then again, we're biased! On this tour you'll get awesome views of Mount Hood (in the distance to the east), the Willamette River, the city, and whatever else you can spot along the way. Enjoy a nice aerial stroll above the Willamette River, the urban landscape of Downtown, and more of the special landmarks that make Portland such a unique place. Sunset Kayaking in the Columbia River Gorge

We will meet at the Wind River Boat Ramp for a 2 hour Sunset Kayak Tour. We will introduce you to your equipment and size you for a PFD. We enter the water and practice a few basic paddle techniques to get you started. I will lead you up the river to explore the calm and clear waters of the Wind River. We generally see osprey, eagles, and fish swimming under the kayaks. The tour will then head out onto the Columbia River for the Sunset where we relax and soak in the view. Other things to note Guests must be comfortable sitting for 2 hours and be able to paddle themselves for that duration at a casual pace.

Gorge Sunset Kayak Tour

This is a 2-hour tour where we will explore a beautiful river in a protected cove of clear, glacier-melt water. The water is so clear that you can see the pebbles on the bottom of the river, not to mention wildlife! There are many species of fish, eagles, osprey, herons, ducks, and occasional otters that call this inlet home. The tour includes a paddle upstream with a chance to swim and enjoy a small beach, take photos, and do a little exploring, and ends with a float back out to the Columbia River to enjoy a view of the mountains of the Gorge. Our professional guides will tell you the story of the local nature and ways of the river. We will outfit you with all necessary paddle gear, give a paddle and water safety talk and coach paddlers as needed along the tour. We strive to connect our guests with this special place through the history of human use of this waterway as well as the wildlife that calls it home. This is an unforgettable experience in an indescribably beautiful setting.
