The Herdade de São Martinho is part of one of the oldest mountains in the region and is located in the municipality of Avis. The Monte belonged to the ancient Order of the Templars and later to the Religious Order of Avis. Having been in the same family for several generations, its small houses, previously inhabited by workers of the Herdade, have been remodeled for those who want to enjoy life in the countryside as if they were in their own home.

This wonderful apartment is located in the estate of Martingil, Chouto, Chamusca, about 30 km from the Montargil dam. It has three bedrooms of about 20 sq. meters, one with a double bed and a private bathroom (terrace/nature view) and two bedrooms with two single beds (pool view). The apartment also has a fully equipped kitchen, 3 living rooms with sofas, 3 fireplaces (one with a heat recuperator), a dining room and a games table.

Casa da Malta do Monte dos Arneiros

This unique space has a style all by itself. Old Malta House for seasonal workers (usually the Beiras), who came to work for the Alentejo at the time of the harvest. It has two Camaratas (one male and one female, with double bathrooms) Recovered for tourist purposes in 2002. It has seating area and dining area. Integrated into a former Herdade with a few hundred hectares.

House in the center of Portugal

Large holidays house built in 1929. Good for group of friends or two or three famillies. Plenty of space in the house and garden: cannoes, for childrean a litle house, a play room. Swimming pool The house has been mantained since our grand-parents left it for their childrean. We will be pleased if you call us.

The house has a superb view over the lake, and is situated on the bank, 20 meters from the water. You can enjoy the raft, have wonderful baths and a relaxing silence.
