Our families stay in Mindo was wonderful! Luz and her family were very helpful with check-in and instructions even though our Spanish was limited. The place was cozy and very clean. We were within walking distance of town with great restaurants and shops. The gardens around the house were beautiful and they even have hummingbird feeders and a place where they put fruit for the birds. It was magical to watch the birds while drinking delicious Ecuadorian coffee. We would recommend this place to others!

Mi experiencia en este departamento fue excelente desde el primer momento. Todo estaba tal cual se muestra en las fotos: limpio, ordenado, moderno y con una decoración minimalista que lo hace muy acogedor. La ubicación es súper estratégica, cerca de varios restaurantes, farmacias y puntos clave de la ciudad, además en una zona muy segura. Las camas eran realmente cómodas, descansé como en casa, y el garaje privado es un plus, amplio y seguro. El anfitrión fue siempre muy atento, educado y pendiente de cada detalle, lo cual hizo que la estadía fuera aún mejor. Definitivamente recomiendo este lugar y sin duda volvería a hospedarme aquí.

We absolutely loved staying here. It was the highlight of our time in Ecuador. I highly recommend staying at least three nights, although we wished we had booked for at least a week. The house itself is immaculately kept, even got fresh towels each morning and some quick housekeeping. The property is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Mindo on dirt roads, our SUV rental car did just fine! We enjoyed making our way into town once a day for groceries and a meal out, but cooking in the outdoor kitchen was dreamy. Wendy’s property and the surrounding wilderness is exquisite. I highly recommend hiking to the waterfalls just outside of Wendy’s property, shared with her neighbors. We had the most beautiful waterfall and its calm pool all to ourselves—the best day of our vacation! The bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette are well protected from bugs and get nice and cool at night. We recommend bug spray when cooking outside and hiking. Overall, incredible!! Thank you Wendy, Maria, and Walter!

We absolutely loved this place — it’s like paradise! Fernando and the house manager, Luis, were both very responsive and accommodating. The house is located in a quiet area and offers breathtaking views. There are tons of chirping birds everywhere — it’s truly amazing. We loved everything about this place: the hammock views, the balcony, the pool, and the sauna — all spectacular. We’re definitely coming back! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, tranquil day in a jungle-like environment.

This sanctuary was a highlight for trip to Ecuador. The cabin was beautiful, cozy and had the most beautiful views and surroundings. The king sized bed was awesome, not a lot of them in Ecuador from the Airbnbs I searched. Ivan provided the staple breakfast items and we ate like kings/queens after walking around Mindo all day. The property is well kept and truly spectacular. We spent our morning bathing in the river nearby while the doggie kept us company and played lifeguard. We’d go back in heartbeat and we plan to sometime in the near future.

Nuestra estancia fue increíble. La casa estaba impecable, muy bien equipada y ubicada en una zona tranquila, ideal para descansar. La comunicación con el anfitrión fue excelente desde el primer momento, siempre atento y dispuesto a ayudar. Los niños disfrutaron muchísimo del jacuzzi, fue uno de los puntos favoritos del viaje. ¡Sin duda recomendaría este lugar y volveríamos encantados!

Una excelente experiencia, el lugar es igual a las imágenes y Katty fue una excelente anfitrión. Nos brindó todas la comodidades y nos dio sugerencias para movilidad dentro de la zona y restaurantes. Si vuelvo a Santo Domingo me quedaré aquí nuevamente Un buen precio para el lugar.

Pasamos un feriado inolvidable, en gran medida gracias a esta hermosa casa. Tiene todo lo necesario para descansar del estrés de la ciudad y acceder a todas las actividades que ofrece Mindo. Sobre todo si es en plan familiar con niños pequeños, ofrece una experiencia inmejorable. Muy recomendado.
