There is really no greater heaven on earth than this jewel of a cabin tucked away in the mountains. The rock pools, the endless walking trails and paths that can get you lost for days. What an incredible slice of paradise and worth more than just two days! Could have stayed forever. As a female solo traveler it was so safe and I felt well looked after. Loved it

Amazing stay, loved the nature feeling, room was spectacular, staff and host were extremely helpful and help make my day special for me. Dinky (Host) helped with getting me flowers and speaing to the staff to organize my proposal picnic. Definitely would recommend. beautiful memories were made. #SheSaidYes.

As soon as we arrived we felt at home in the rustic, comfortable cottage and couldn’t wait to explore the interesting and varied garden and surrounds. Robert and George are very helpful and friendly . We’d happily go back if the opportunity arose again.

What a gorgeous place to be! We loved every minute, and being from JBay, it was even better that it was so close. The team are very friendly and made us feel right at home. The grounds are kept in pristine condition. There is so much to do and see, one night feels too short, but also refreshes the soul.

Natalie's place was wonderful and she was a great host. The Lantern is an architecturally unique perch in the forest on the hillside. It is also comfortable with two bathrooms, a huge copper tub and a giant bed. A wonderful retreat to visit Hogsback.

The most attentive and proactive hosts I’ve ever experienced. They weren’t in Hogsback during my stay but checked in regularly with me, sent lots of info on what was going on in the village and made sure the staff made my stay comfortable. And then the waterfalls. Not one but 3 spectacular ones on your doorstep. If you’re looking for a dramatic backdrop for your wedding, look no further.

I had a lovely stay. The cottage is beautiful and Pietro was the best host. The Carpenters Cottage is a gorgeous cosy tiny home with everything you need to be comfortable. It’s also a fascinating piece of history. Pietro gave me great advice about where to go and what to do in Knysna, and even took me to see some of the lovely local beaches with her sweet dog Rupert. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to any of my friends and family who visit Knysna.

Fun place to stay, very family-friendly with lots of communal spaces to enjoy like the hot tub, braai area, gardens, bush walk track. The cabin was nice, we especially enjoyed the private outdoor bathroom.

We loved our stay at the Forest View Studio! Incredibly private and peaceful, while being an easy drive from anything we needed to get to. Andy & Tish provided just the right amount of everything needed, and we loved the extra touches like an electric blanket and Nespresso machine. Would definitely book again!

The location was exceptional. The views, the river and surroundings are all breathtaking. The cabin is the perfect location for numerous day trips or one can spend the day on the river with the kayak. Altanja was always responsive and helpful amd the cabin was clean and attention to details were appreciated. The only thing to note is the cabin is on solar with a small battery. On cloudy days one can expect to run out of power after a night of charging phones and laptops only. Not a problem when expected but do note this and pack accordingly. Ps. Bed is super comfy!

When you need to push pause on everyday life this is the perfect place to relax and be rejuvenated. The cabin is so well thought out and every detail is just right. Jaco and Dayle are so welcoming and are extremely kind. Dayle has a wellness centre and her massages were so therapeutic. Jaco is a chef and whipped up a feast of a dinner for us, taking note of our personal favourite food choices and then delivered the meal to our cabin. It doesn’t get any better than that! The breakfast basket of goodies was incredible. The best bread I have ever had, delivered warm straight out of the oven. My husband and I went for walks down country lanes and experienced the beauty of hogsback. We will visit again for sure. Thank you Dayle and Jaco.

thank you Jess and Marijus for hosting us at your beautiful and serene cottage. It was wonderful to wake up to the sound of bird song, and look out upon the exquisite views of the forest and surrounding landscape. The cottage provided us with everything we could wish for, with our cherry on the top hot tub which was deliciousy delightful to enjoy on a cool evening next to our braai area and stoep! We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon! The place was exactly as described—peaceful, relaxing, and just what we needed. The host was welcoming and responsive, making the experience even smoother. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Our stay in Knysna at the Breath cottage was lovely! After 10 days of safari we really came to ease at Knysna. The apartment was beautiful with a stunning view over the lagoon. Bonnie welcomed us at our arrival and had lots of tips to do in Knysna. We went to the shopping center and to the Heads where we had lunch at the Italian (delicious food and a stunning location). At the Breath cottage we used the barbecue and all the equipment and kitchen was good. Would definitely recommend this to everyone!

The tiny house was very cozy. Fortunately, we were able to book the accommodation very spontaneously in the evening and could check in quickly. Our highlight was that there was even Netflix:D

Lovely stay, the accommodation was set in the most beautiful garden that we was able to enjoy. Walked to the village only a few minutes walk for dinner in an evening and for a beer in the village Inn and brewery bar and felt very safe. Lovely walks locally and fabulous for visiting the National Park and all the attractions it offers. Felt very relaxed after our stay here. We would return if ever in the area again. We enjoyed our stay at the Cottage. Caleb allowed us to check in earlier which was a bonus. The location is perfect and peaceful.
