Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Savanne District

I never actually met Julie while I was there but contacted her several times before the trip and her responses were always quick and very helpful. During my stay at the apartment I met Nita and her husband. They’re both incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were super helpful with any queries I had. I was staying on my own and it was my first time in Mauritius but they made me feel right at home. Even small touches like providing delicious fresh fruits on a couple of mornings, was very kind of them and much appreciated (a lovely surprise to wake up to!) The apartment itself is lovely and well maintained with excellent wifi. It’s in a quiet area. The bed has a very comfortable, firm mattress. The roof-top terrace is huge and a lovely spot to relax/sunbath. The kitchen has everything you need and the whole apartment was very clean. They have a shop at the end of the road (less than a minute walk), very handy for snacks and essentials :) Would happily stay here again. 10/10!

This truly was one of our best airbnb experiences ever!! Anne and Dom are excellent hosts and we felt more than welcomed at their beautiful house. The Apartment is just as described and even more beautiful - you will have the best sun downer on the Island there and all the tips for Restaurants etc. from Anne and Dom were brilliant and made our stay even better. Look no further - this one is heaven on earth :-)

This little apartment is an absolute gem. So perfectly situated, close to everything and with the most breathtaking view. From sunrise to sunset, there was always something to look at outside of the kitchen window. It is extremely well priced considering its location. When staying in Black River, being on La Tourelle mountainside is just a must. Julie met us on Diane's behalf and was so helpful and informative. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Very very nice place, well maintained in terms of exteriors, super clean inside, beautiful sea view, fabulous sunsets. Nice pool for returning from walks. Excellent garden furniture around the pool. Very quiet neighborhood. Walks nearby, on foot or by car. Tamarin is very well located, very easy south access, very easy north access also because roads and 4 lanes are present everywhere on the island. In addition, and this is very important to us, Virginia's excellent hosting, always super present as soon as we requested it, always very good advice. We recommend it!

The apartment was really great! The location in Black River (west of Mauritius) is perfect for excursions and daily supply (supermarket, restaurants, boulangerie etc.) is just around the corner. The apartment complex is very nice, clean, safe and well maintained. The pool and the lookout from there on black River Bay and Le Mourne is tremendously great - not only for sunsets. The apartment itself doesn’t lack anything. It was perfectly clean, felt very nice, private and welcome to be inside of it and the balcony is great to enjoy your food or just to relax. It’s in our opinion of a perfect size for four people (family) and the available utensils/ items in the kitchen are well thought-through. Priscilla is a wonderful host with a perfect balance of being very helpful, friendly and reliable without forcing you to anything. We would definitely recommend the apartment as we experienced it.

Before we left, we, two adults and two children (7 and 9 years), spent one night in this well-kept accommodation. We were warmly welcomed by Dorinne, her husband and the dogs. They have created a very nice green oasis and refreshing pool for themselves and the guests. In the evening we were allowed to enjoy the hospitality with culinary delicacies at a large table. What a crowning holiday end. Thank you very much.

The place is very nice and the hosts are very nice. We felt very comfortable. Everything important can be reached on foot. There was nothing to complain about.

I had a wonderful stay discovering the south of the island thanks to Jean-Luc and Lovena. Very welcoming and kind, they recommended a lot of nice little places to visit. I was also able to taste the delicious cuisine of Lovena. The accommodation is very good, the peaceful area and the small town of Surinam is only a few minutes walk. It went very well for people who want to discover the wild coast of South Mauritius on several days. I can only recommend staying with them and will definitely be back on a new trip to Mauritius! Thanks to Akash and Aleksandra for their warm welcome, the stay went by quickly as we were so comfortable at the Kowlessur residence, we felt at home. Spacious and comfortable rooms with air conditioning, well equipped. Beautiful beach and waterfall nearby, grocery store nearby, bus stops not far if you are on foot. We spent a nice week of family vacation in Charming Condo, the place is very convenient 5 min walk from the beach, it has all necessary kitchen ware, the terrace-balcony is a great place to have breakfasts and evening snacks to enjoy the sunset. Thank you Sebastien and Valerie for your hospitality!

The best apartment that I've visited in Mauritius. Everything was perfect, the apartment, the pool and the sea. Just amazing.

Amazing place, beautiful sunsets. Modern and fully equipped with everything you would ever need. Clean and tidy with private beach access and beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Outstanding!!! Can not recommend this place highly enough. Firstly the communication by host (Joel) was fantastic, always very prompt and helpful. Secondly, the apartment is perfect, 3 great bedrooms plus 2 large bathrooms, huge open plan lounge / dining / kitchen, lovely sunny balcony that looked out over pool (we didn’t actually use the pool but did look lovely!) plus an out of the way laundry just off the kitchen. The apartment had everything you need plus more!!! Thirdly, location was wonderful. Easy walking distance to beach, shops, restaurants etc The only sad thing about this apartment is that we had to leave it. If you’re planning a trip to Mauritius then you really must check out this apartment.

I spent 2 weeks alone in the accommodation. It was very sweet which was really great was the communication. As long as we always got back to you directly and all kinds of problems were helped directly. Due to the many windows, there is a lot of natural light, but it also gets light very quickly in the morning, which did not disturb me. There are also a lot of power outlets. The beach access is very close and within walking distance. I would come back but bring someone with me.

We had a lovely 5 days at Rhitish's apartment! He was very responsive and available by message. Cleaning is done every day when you are away = great! It is possible to park your car in the residence which is very convenient. The apartment is small but functional, the air conditioning is very nice and relatively quiet at night. The view of the lagoon is great! The bedding is also very comfortable. Just a very small downside on the bath towels that peel off and are therefore inconvenient to wipe off without having clumps of cotton on oneself but it is an easily perfectible detail. Great value for the money, I recommend it!
