Holiday rentals in Scott County

Staying at this beautiful historic property was a memorable experience! The location is very peaceful, and the hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. If we ever visit this area again, we would definitely stay here!

Christen’s place was amazing! Waking up to the sound of birds with the fog surrounding the mountains was an experience we won’t forget. My girls enjoyed laying in the hammock and making s’mores over the fire. The tent felt safe and comfortable, with more than enough bedding and camping tools. We will definitely be back to Christen’s place again.

What a beautiful home! The farm animals were wonderful, especially the babies. There were lots of cute puppies! I even saw half a dozen cats! What a lovely vacation home. Thanks for hosting!

Vicki’s place was so cute and comfy. Perfectly placed right off the sidewalk making it perfect walking distance to all the surrounding stores in the cute little hallmark looking down Gate City. I loved and will absolutely be back!

What a beautiful, restored home! We were impressed with all the hard work the hosts did (themselves!) to restore the house, and the creative, beautiful, thoughtful design that was throughout the house. We loved the large kitchen and dining area, and the huge first floor bathroom! We appreciated that there was a main bedroom on the first floor and additional bedrooms on the second floor.

We needed somewhere to stay the night during a roadtrip and the r-pod was perfect for our needs! All of the basic essentials were provided, plus some thoughtful touches. As a plus size gal, the bathroom was a squeeze but still doable. Be warned, it was quite chilly inside the pod for an October night! There was a small space heater provided, which came in very handy, but bringing extra blankets might be a good idea (or dress warm for bed lol). Also, a heads up that there were some loose dogs hanging out around the pod when we arrived and left. They seemed friendly, but were not scared of the car, so be on the lookout when pulling in/out. Overall, a good choice!

The house is a very roomy old house. Beautiful old and antique furniture. We lived the old quilts.
