The cabin is reached via a path of about 1 km with 150 metres of altitude gain. The hike is steep and takes 15–30 minutes; light luggage is recommended. Best suited for 2 people, but has sleeping accommodation for 4. The cabin has electricity, piped water from a nearby stream and a toilet. There is no shower. Here you are a short distance from great hiking opportunities, as well as excellent opportunities for swimming and paddling in Sørfjorden. Practical information: - Bed linen and towels are included during the stay. - Cleaning at check-out included. - Guests throw their own waste in the rubbish bins outside the house, remove bed linen and tidy up before check-out. - A travel cot with mattress and sheets can be provided if needed.

Kvalnes farm is a perfect starting point for trips and experiences in Indre Hardanger, including Dronningsstien, Trolltunga or Oksen. The apartment is located in the basement of the farmhouse and is well suited for a couple traveling together. Private entrance and patio. In the neighborhood there are several cider producers, where it is possible to buy both cider and apple must. Kvalnes farm itself has a small sale of organic apple cider. Drengstova", an apartment that is located in the barn with a private balkong facing the fjord, Sørfjorden. At the dock it’s nice to take a bath, fish or just enjoy the view. Fogefonna sommerskisenter is one houer by car from us. There are many fine hiking in the surrounding area. The most famous are Trolltunga, Oksen and the waterfalls in Husedalen,Kinsarvik. It's nice to cycle along the fjord into Agatunet or against Utne with Utne hotel, and Hardanger Folkemuseeum .

Combining modern architecture and amenities with the look of a traditional boathouse, there aren't many places like this around. 2 km to groceries, restaurant and gas station. 30 km to Trolltunga trailhead. Lots of local trails.
