Fantastic property. Even better than photos. The pool and outside area was amazing. Every amenity you could think of was there. Added touch of a Christmas tree and a present under it for our the little girl in our group. Would highly recommend.

I can't thank Louise enough for our wonderful little homely and private cottage in the autumn trees, showering yellow leaves over the garden. Rose Cottage is just pure magic at this time of the year, especially if you are a keen photographer as l am: While it is close to the airport it isn't in the flight path so there's not that much aircraft noise, and it is close to supermarket, coffee shops, etc. Louise and Matthew are wonderful hosts and I highly recommend their property to anyone visiting Christchurch and wanting something just a slightly bit different :)

We loved it so much here, we didn't want to leave! Beautiful tranquil spot, immaculate house, had everything we needed. The weather was amazing so we spent most of our time sitting outside around the huge outdoor table beside the pool area, but in colder months you'd have plenty of space to relax inside on the comfy couches. The house is so lovely you won't want to go anywhere else :)

Great communication. The house is very close to central Christchurch. Designated carpark- most airbnbs we have stayed in Christchurch don't have this!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Although on a busy road it is quiet inside and the location is perfect. Handy to local shops, short drive to the supermarket at Merivale and has a lovely outdoor courtyard to enjoy in the sun. Off street parking makes it easy to get your bags and groceries inside. The living room is a great size and kitchen has everything you need and more. Note that although there's a washing machine there's no dryer, but there is an outdoor clothes line and a drying rack to use inside. 2 good sized bedrooms were perfect for us. We felt right at home here and are sure others will enjoy it just as much. We were visiting family so will stay here again when we come back next year. Thank you Rose.

What a wonderful place to stay. Everything you could need, beautifully done. So much space as well. Don't expect high speed broadband, it was enough for the TV and Web browsing / tiktok viewing! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Amazing family stay at a very well-equipped house. Has everything you need for a trip with the family. Will be staying again.

We only stayed one night and did not do any cooking. We had a very early flight out, and Zhou's place suited us very well for that. It was clean, and the 2 full bathrooms were very helpful with 2 couples getting ready in the morning. It is 6 minutes from the airport. I think we would have felt crowded if we stayed more than a night or 2. The bedrooms are small and there is very little room for luggage, so I ended up leaving my luggage out in the main living room area. As noted in other reviews, you have to walk through the owners back yard to get to the house, which felt a little weird. We only briefly met Zhou, but he was very pleasant and helpful.

I really regret staying only one night. The place was so peaceful and lovely. Really enjoyed the view.

This property is so beautiful! It has all the charm and character of a classically built house on the outside, but has all the mod. cons. on the inside. Our whānau had a lovely stay - had everything that they needed, and the host was very responsive. It really is 'magnificent'! Highly recommend.

Apartment is bright and welcoming. Good location relatively close to city centre. Bus 60 (Wigram/Southshore) close by about every 30 mins so takes you into city centre. Garage is a large single - good size and height. We had a bit of difficulty getting in and out with a large car but small ones wouldn’t have a problem. Was very clean and warm. Had everything we needed. Can certainly recommend.

Thank you Emily for a wonderful stay. Clean and beautifully decorated cottage with plenty of room for the kids to play in the yard and for all of us to stretch out for a few days. Great tip about the local pool, the kids loved it. Was a wonderful home away from home.

What a lovely “home away from home”, couldn’t ask for more. The cottage was clean, modern, spacious and exactly as per the photos shown in the listing. Stella’s place was easy to find and close to all ammenities. Just 5 minutes from the airport.

We had an absolutely lovely stay here. The hosts truly thought of everything we'd need, especially travelling with a baby and a toddler - it was lovely that the host left a portacot for us and lots of snuggly blankets. The space is beautiful and warm, the beds were comfy and the location is just so easy to get pretty much everywhere in chch. The host was so helpful, too. My only complaint is that the house isn't free for our next trip as I don't want to stay anywhere else!!! Truly a home away from home.
