Really a lovely cozy stay and a house that has everything you need. We felt very much at home, both in the house and in the area and for a great value for money! We were with our son of five and in addition to that in Bergen and the area there is a lot to do and see, there is also plenty of entertainment around the house with a football field and mini beach! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The care and attention to the renovation of this historic house is clear everywhere. Beautifully and comfortably equipped, the interiors are such a joy, we adored this house and would recommend to anyone looking for modern amenities in a characterful historic setting. Comfortable beds, beautiful linens, well stocked kitchen, wonderful views and a scenic location less than an hour outside Bergen and looking out over the quaint harbour, this was a really relaxing cosy location to spend Christmas. Would love to visit in summer too. Highly recommended.

We had a very nice stay in a nice home! Perfect for our family of two adults and three children. Extra nice with Christmas tree, Christmas decorations and Christmas snacks on the table when we arrived - two days before Christmas. Everything as expected and great communication along the way. We felt at home:) several shops right nearby and easy by bus or track to the city. Otherwise quiet neighborhood with nice view.

My rating is 10 out of 10 — it was an amazing stay! The house was absolutely spotless, very warm and comfortable. The host, Lars, is a very welcoming and kind person. He met us and picked us up from the nearest bus stop, as we were traveling around Norway by public transport. He also kindly offered to drive us to the airport, which was especially helpful during the Easter holidays. We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and quiet, to relax both body and soul, and to enjoy the stunning Norwegian landscapes. Hiking, fishing, and barbecuing are all great ways to spend time here. There is a bus stop just a one-minute walk from the house. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the center of Bergen, and the buses run right on schedule — booking tickets online is the best option. A special thank you to our host Lars for being so attentive to his guests — and for the fresh eggs!👍

A great place to stay if you're driving from Bergen to Stryn! 30min drive to Bergen city center. the apartment is on the second floor so please expect stairs. everything is cozy clean and warm in the apartment, a lot of greenery, well equipped kitchen and modern rooms. Irina is super welcoming, would love to come again.

My partner and I stayed at Eldrid's place for a long weekend and found it so cosy to stay in, with views of the mountains, the fire place and living room. The place is so beautiful and Eldrid welcomed us on arrival. The apartment is about 30 minutes walk to the centre, or an easy tram or bus ride. We really appreciated the fridge filled with eggs, cheese and milk, as well as the chocolates! We definitely would like to come back to do more exploring around Bergen.

A lovely and well equipped apartment to come home to after a day exploring the area and Bergen. The cute cups and vases with flowers, so thoughtful! We felt very much at home; the kitchen is able to cook very fully and nicely. Thank you Anders and Anne for hospitality!

Dear Gunhild, We thank you from the heart for the wonderful time in your apartment. From the very beginning, we felt very comfortable. This is mainly because you immediately feel that you care about the guests and their well-being. It started with the very warm welcome, even though it was already after midnight, and continued with the detailed tour of the spacious, cozy and very well equipped apartment. We lacked nothing, neither in the bathroom nor in the kitchen, everything was perfect! In addition, your always noticeable care: The fresh and well-filled fruit plate, the free, filtered drinking water, your inquiries about our health, the rental of umbrellas and the many nice conversations and so on. We lacked nothing! At most a little sun or at least snow, but nobody can do anything about the bad weather in the Norwegian winter. Thanks again for everything!

We were very satisfied with the accommodation and with the communication with Siv who was always very responsive and kind! The view from the house is breathtaking, the accommodation is easily accessible even without a car. We highly recommend this listing!!!

Accommodation close to Bergen, about 15/20 minutes. Very large 3 bedroom house. We spent 4 nights there and we felt like home, 😍 it's really ideal and there is enough space, a large terrace brief than happiness!

Rented apartment for work at HVL. Therefore very central. Otherwise nice trip up Ulriken in walking distance from the apartment👍

We had a great stay at Lillian's place though admittedly we spent much of our visit walking around Bergen rather than relaxing inside this cozy home. I wish we could have done more of both. The location is GREAT and is within easy walking distance to harbor and to the train station. I don't have much to add to the other positive reviews, but I think it is worth noting that the living area/kitchen is on the second floor with a spiral staircase so if stairs are an issue for someone, this could be problematic.

Absolutely stunning place to be - the views over the lake are beautiful and the house is wonderful. Great for a large gathering - lots of space and lovely bedrooms.

We had a great time. the chalet is very nice, pleasant, beautiful decoration. Compliant with photos. Very nice view on the fjord. the host is very nice, she responds to all messages quickly.

We had a fabulous time in this great cabin. The cabin is incredibly beautifully located by the water, and we had a great time exploring the lake with the two kayaks. The cabin is very cozy and decorated with great love for details - everything we needed was in place. Communication with Rune was excellent – he was very nice and showed us everything we needed to know about the cabin. The stay in the cabin was very relaxing and gave us the perfect break away in nature. Highly recommended! Thank you for us – we're already looking forward to returning.

Excellent stay at this typical little cottage located in a haven of peace and has a history. Total disconnection. The ground floor is really warm, rustic and cozy while the floor is bright and the bedding is very comfortable. Alis is very kind and responsive. It was a pleasure to stay there 🙏🤗

Perfect Airbnb! A short drive from Bergen, but also a great location to explore further out. The cabin was charming in both the rain and sunshine, amazing view! Very warm and cosy. We felt right at home and Emiel was a great host. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Elises Cabin! It is a little hike to the cabin, but Elise welcomed us and showed us the way, this was so nice and helpful. We loved it to hike to the cabin and the view on the lake is so beautiful! The cabin is super cozy and clean and Elise was super helpful and friendly! We had a magical holiday in the cabin and would love to come back some day!
