the apartment is very welcoming and the windows have beautiful views of the harbor and downtown. There is a cozy nook by one window where one can spend hours taking in the view. The washer/dryer is easy to use and efficient. The kitchen is clean and well stocked. There are two bedrooms, one traditional and a second up a spiraling staircase that is for the more adventurous types. Definitely get a ride share if you're carrying large wheeled suitcases because there are plenty of stairs and steep streets on the walk from the train station. I'd recommend this apartment only if you don't have mobility issues or are easily winded going up steep hills. The walk from downtown can take 15 to 20 minutes and can be a challenge if you've been out walking all day.

Christopher was a fantastic host. He was very proactive and friendly. We even had a nice surprise bag with little gifts for us when we arrived. We immediately felt at home. The house was perfect for two families, there were some toys for the kids and they could run around.

One of my top 5 airbnb stays across the globe, The location is an absolute gem. Nestled in a serene and private setting, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The peace and quiet were truly restorative. What truly set this property apart was the abundance of activities available. We thoroughly enjoyed spending our days fishing in the nearby lake, leisurely rowing on the water, and engaging in friendly competition with the provided board games, BBQ in the evenings. As night fell, the lack of light pollution made for breathtaking stargazing when the skys are clear. Truly a recommended place.

The apartment has a lot of charm, so you feel like home. It's very generous. There is a very well equipped kitchen, so you can cook very well. The apartment is very bright with a beautiful view on the harbour and the mountains.

The remote fjord's end location was stunning. Our modern, airy boathouse, with its numerous windows and skylights, filled with light was comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and convenient. Despite a power outage caused by a storm after our first night, the four of us stayed comfortable and thanks to Julian's updates and instructions we well managed. Easy access from Bergen. I eagerly anticipate my next visit.

This apartment is definitely one of the best I have ever stayed in. A big thank you Fredrick and Andrea for having me. It was so clean and cozy! I particularly liked the huge window and the view. I really enjoyed having candlelight dinners by the window and also watching the old couples feed the birds during the day. It has an amazing view of everything. It’s very close to the bustling area of the city center but also very quiet and serene. Fredrick and Andrea were the best hosts! They replied so fast and were always available when i needed help with anything. The house was stocked up with absolutely everything I needed! It felt like home and I loved it there! Wish I could’ve stayed forever 😄😄 They were also so helpful with recommendations and suggestions, they were so welcoming to answer any questions I had. This was an amazing stay and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I know who is coming into Bergen❤️

This place is wonderful, you can have everything you need

Wonderful stay at Lana's, in a cozy apartment, with amazing views. Ease of access to the city center with bus 18 ( few connections per day) and 10 ( many more connections).

I have stayed in almost 90 airbnb's over the years, and this place is one of my all-time favorites. They have thought of everything to make a guest feel comfortable and at home. The walk from the train station to the flat was easy, thanks to my minimal luggage (and no rain!). The views inside from both the dining area and living room are truly amazing. Nothing better than sitting with your coffee, even on a rainy day, and gazing out at the fjord and the mountains. Bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen were all perfect for my needs. And the neighborhood is great, away from the crowds and cruise ship in the city center, but less than a 10 minute walk away. Do yourself a favor and go past the house and out to the point for a morning or evening walk - simply gorgeous. I also enjoyed "Love Saigon" restaurant nearby and Henrik's Pub; the latter being a true locals' spot with a good beer list. Plenty of choices close by for dining out or takeaway. I hope to return one day!
