It's another half an hour to the famous D-Day beaches. There are plenty of places to visit and things to do and of course lots of French markets and vide-greniers!

Located halfway between Caen and Mont-Saint-Michel, in the southwest of Calvados, you will stay in a magnificent granite house (called the Bleu de Vire) from 1832 (classified as 3* furnished tourism). You will have access to almost the entire house as well as its beautiful one hectare garden, wooded and quiet, ideal for nature lovers.

The Firs

A renovated old cider barn, with plenty of original character beams. A cosy lounge and well equipped kitchen are found on the ground floor. Access to the first floor is up a spiral stair case, leading to a large open bedroom and bathroom, plus a separate Sipper bath located on a small mezzanine.
