The house was lovingly restored to maintain its original stone features. A perfect place to enjoy with family and friends as it comfortably accomodates up to 6 people.

Conveniently located within walking distance to Santa Barbara beach, this 3 bedroom 2 bathroom rustic modern home brings the beauty of Sao Miguel's earth, sea and sky inside, featuring a tall volcanic rock fireplace, local wood beam ceilings, open concept kitchen with farmhouse sink and stainless steel appliances. Casa do Galo is a five-minute walk away from the “green lake”, and only three from the “blue lake”, giving you the opportunity to enjoy, comfortably, the peace and tranquility of the Sete Cidades volcano crater, immersed in the different shades of green. There are several recommended trails in the area which allow guests to explore the beauty of the nearby lakes and the local restaurants give you the chance of tasting the delicious Azorean cuisine.
