Spectacular wine country views' comfortable 2 bedroom modular cottage with full kitchen and comfortable furniture. Very quiet, close to dozens of winery's and only 15 minutes to downtown Paso Robles. Beautiful trees and garden shared by our Victorian home. Our top of the hill location is great for stargazing. One added feature our pet Bison Aleshanee and Halona! Both Bison have unique personalities that fit their names.
“We stayed at Bison Ridge as a part of a visit to Paso Robles to see Sensorio - Field of Light. The location is extremely convenient to visit Sensorio. That is just one of many reasons to stay at Bison Ridge. Other reasons include the exceptional hospitality. Gloria responds immediately to all communication and she was there to greet us when we arrived. She includes extras like a basket of snacks on the counter, a bowl of fruit in the fridge, and a book full of pamphlets and tourist information. Additional highlights are the spectacular sweeping views and the the two Bison that live on site. Finally, the place is spotlessly clean.”
Enjoy a relaxing stay amidst country charm (including goats and barn cats) in this sparkling clean, quiet, and sanitized room in a house on two acres just outside the Northeast Paso Robles City limit. Breakfast is included as part of your experience at URGH (Union Road Guesthouse) and includes hot and cold cereals, yogurt, homemade sourdough waffles, fresh fruit, an assortment of breads, jams (often homemade), coffee, tea, and an assortment of juices.
“This is my second stay at Bill’s place. This is a wonderful place to stay if you’re visiting Paso Robles or the San Luis Obispo area. It’s out in wine country but only a 10 minute drive from restaurants around the plaza downtown. Nice waffle breakfast and congenial hosts.”
We remain open during the Corona Virus emergency. If you need to "socially distance;" this is the place. There's no one around for miles. The 12' x 10' wall tent is perched in a field where you'll find 360 Degrees of breath-taking views by day and jaw-dropping star filled skies at night.
“The stuff dreams are made of. As a travel and nature connoisseur as well as an avid escape artist to places remote and far flung I can say that I was enchanted beyond words with my luck to have found this spot. Green rolling hills as far as the eye can see; no sound other than crickets, birds, coyotes and owls; sunsets to leave you speechless; space to wander the most gorgeous landscape...it's really a slice of peace seekers heaven. The tent is cozy, bed is deliciously comfortable, stars are ridiculously close and all you need is provided in terms of linens, pots and pans to cook, lanterns and extra blankets. Even a space heater if you get a chill. The sounds of night in the tent I actually sat up and recorded so I could re-listen to later. Campfire with a glass of wine while watching the sky light up goes down in the books. To top it off Kenney and Courtney are lovely, helpful and thoughtful. I've marked this location as a must do again and shared it with everyone I know.”
