Huge out door backyard & firepit. located 2 miles from Hunnewell Lake and 12 miles from Mark Twain Lake. We can add beds or take out. Each stay is catered to you for your guest.

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Located between Shelbina and Shelbyville, Missouri, within one-fourth mile of Shelbina Lakeside Golf Course, Shelbina Lake with fishing, disc golf, walking trail, playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts. Our property offers catch and release fishing also. Shelbina also offers weekend movies at Hawkins Theatre and live productions on occasion. There is a public zero entry pool, in season, at the Aquatic Park.

Immerse yourself in the country life at Schwieter Land and Livestock, surrounded by horses, blue skies and clean air. Follow the short gravel road, just outside Shelbina, to the ranch. There's room to spread out in the house, filled with old west charm and modern conveniences. Rest and relax during your stay indoors or step outside- to the deck, patio and yard of the ranch property where you'll be entertained by the animals roaming nearby and maybe catch a glimpse of a real cowboy.

Cozy little farm house

Cozy little farm house perfect for an in between stay or getaway located at the end of a blacktop road. The house sits amongst a small cattle farm with a nice view over a bottom field with abundant wildlife. This house is set up for the main purpose of lodging our seasonal guests who pursue wildlife and will reflect that within its decorations. There is a smart tv in the living room but there is currently no WiFi available here as we just use our hotspots on our phone.

Quiet Farm Cottage

Enjoy time in the country at this simple country cottage in the middle of a working Mennonite farm. You can explore country roads and ranch trails and come back to comfy beds, air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen. No TV or Wifi, but ample cell coverage from most carriers. A perfect country retreat for your family! We aren't the right stay for parties or loud revelry, as we seek to preserve the peaceful environment integral to our neighbor's way of life.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful home. Enjoy this ranch-style 3-bedroom home on a peaceful dead end street. All bedrooms offer queen beds with their own tv to relax and unwind at the end of the day. Guests have access to the entire house, including a 1-car attached garage and a large deck overlooking the back yard. Don’t take your dirty laundry home-washer and dryer furnished as well.
