We have been gradually renovating and revitalising the property (currently in progress), including features such as the whitewashed earthen walls and the natural Kenji bamboo fencing.Originally an old house opened as an almost 100% inbound accommodation.We are conducting a semi open-air bath in the interior of the warehouse and renovation work centered around the water. ■ Soothing moss garden ■ There are front yards, courtyards, back gardens, and three moss gardens, and well water flows everywhere, and there are hand-water bowls, rapids, deer, creeks running between flying stones, and pot ponds, including koi, medaka, tanago, and river shrimp, and a biotoping space where wild birds live. ■ Chick-in lounge (cafe/bar space), souvenir corner ■ You can drink authentic cocktails on the first floor of the main building.There are souvenir corners such as overseas imported interior miscellaneous goods/accessories/natural stones/charms such as Bali.

KAIWA NO SATO This old house is an indigo mansion built in the first year of the Bunsei era (1804) during the heyday of indigo. The main house and the sleeping area (a barn where indigo was stored) have been demolished due to aging, but the historic living room and garden have been preserved to allow guests to experience a little bit of that time, and it is used as a farmhouse inn. In the old days, "Indigofera" grew on the fertile land of the Yoshino River basin in Tokushima Prefecture, bringing great wealth to Tokushima Prefecture (Awa Province). Ancient documents on indigo, including cultural properties, are also available for viewing. Enjoy the charm of that era and Indigofera. ＝＝＝＝ Feel free to pick and eat seasonal fruits and vegetables from the adjacent fields. * Please enjoy as many figs as you like in summer and autumn. It takes 8 minites by walk to a ferry landing, train stations(JR station and a street car station. This room is semi-private. It is partitioned with paper wall. So you can hear more next room's guest voice compared to the usual room. We have one shared toilet and two shared shower rooms. There are lots of trees behind it. So you might find centipedes or other bugs.

ルイの家 (Traditional House near the Sea)

Traditional Japanese two story wooden house with 11 rooms built in 1932 . The guestrooms are Japanese tatami rooms located on the second floor. Basically limited to 1 group per day. I rescue cats on the island and now I have 9 cats in my house. They are friendly so often they are walking and running around guest rooms. The house is on a quiet street about 20 meters from the coast and a 10 minute walk from the port.
