Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Shirley

This is our 2nd time of staying and we would definitely visit again. It's a great location for us as it is near family that we visit. There is loads of space and the bedrooms are a great size. (No worrying about where suitcases go) We had 4 adults, 2 children and 1 baby with us and we stayed 3 nights. Sadly the weather didn't allow us to us the garden, but it is a good size and clean. The kitchen is well equipped and instructions for using everything was there. We slept well and it was very quiet. There is a small supermarket within walking distance and a lovely walk in the woods nearby too. We were lucky to go in bluebell season and they are spectatcular. Richard answered any queries promptly and was helpful. Thank you.

We managed the get this booking very last minute and we weren’t disappointed in the slightest, the rooms were beautiful, so much space including the garden. It had everything we needed. We really loved the decor. But for us the hosts made the trip. So thoughtful and considerate, and despite our own lack of packing skills, kindly sorted us out, truely grateful, such a kind gesture. Really great communication and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout. Definitely looking to stay again!

A lovely house with plenty of space and everything we needed for our stay. The location was ideal for accessing all the attractions we wanted to visit. Nice bonus having a park with a playground nextdoor and the kids were particularly taken with having beanbags in the rooms! Mya was a responsive host and quick to respond to our queries ahead of our visit.

Marie-Reine is a very friendly and responsive host. The home was a pleasant stay and had everything we needed. The area was also quiet and the house has its own driveway. Perfect.

Responsive host and accommodation was good for the night for our family of 4 to attend a wedding in Wolverhampton.

This place was a massive 5/5. A family of 5, 3 of which had mobility problems. It had everything we could ever want in a fully accessible home and more! Beautiful house, lovely large garden which my dogs loved! Not too far from main shops and a big field at the back of the house to walk the dogs. Highly, highly recommend for anyone with a family member with mobility issues. I can’t thank you enough!

Absolutely beautiful place and stunning grounds - I’d say it’s even more beautiful than in the pictures. It was the perfect place for the 10 family members to gather for a birthday. Maggie was so helpful and allowed us to check in a little earlier! We drove 5/10 mins down the road to some local walks to see the stunning countryside. We highly recommend driving down the road to The Bakery at Hampton Manor as it has absolutely incredible pastries for breakfast! Also highly recommend the Barn @ Berryfields which is also just down the road and has probably the best Sunday roasts we’ve ever had! Overall beautiful home on stunning grounds!

Nice house and quiet place.Unfortunately didn’t stay the whole period due to personal reasons.Worth to recommend to people who like farm and quiet environments

A really lovely, comfortable cottage with beautiful features set in a peaceful location, yet a great base for visiting local attractions. Everything has been well thought out. It was super clean and the linen and bedding were top quality. The kitchen was really well equipped. Rosemary is a great host. Thanks for a great stay!

We booked The Coach House for a 40th birthday surprise - it was superb! The perfect ‘home from home.’ The host Robert was a great communicator from the start of the booking process to the end, and even left a couple of welcome gifts on arrival for us. The house itself and the outside area with its hot tub and bar area was perfect for our group of 9 to enjoy a few drinks and some music on the evening. The next day, we took a stroll into the lovely town and visited a couple of the nearby pubs and shops. Overall our stay here was exactly what we wanted- relaxed, fun, private and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this home to anyone who wants a couple of quiet nights away in the countryside, friends, families or for special celebrations. Had a lovely stay whilst having some plastering work done at home. We received a lovely welcome box of chocolates and a bottle of wine, as well as tea, coffee & sugar. Nothing was too much trouble for our host. We needed to stay two extras nights. This was no problem, even though there were other guests due to arrive 2 hours upon our leaving! I would highly recommend this air b&b to other guests. It was a home from home. Lovely and comfortable. Thanks again.

Jessica was very responsive and accommodating with our check in time. The place was easy to find and meet our needs. She even brought us an extra towel to use for the dog as it was going to be rainy. The back garden was perfect for our dog to stretch his legs (and the main reason we booked).

5-Star Stay – A Hidden Gem in the Woods! We had the most magical night away in the woods – it was everything we hoped for and more. The setup was perfect: a super cosy bed, clean shower and toilet, a firepit with all the cooking essentials ready to go, and the absolute highlight – the hot tub! The peaceful sounds of nature and the birds made it incredibly relaxing. It felt like the perfect balance between being close to nature and having all the comforts you need. The space is so thoughtfully set out – we literally gasped when we saw it! The hosts were amazing – so helpful both during the booking process and throughout our stay. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of love into this place. Also, it’s in a great location, close to some fantastic pubs and places to eat. Couldn’t recommend it more – definitely a 5-star experience. We’ll be back!

This property is great for big families. Loads of space inside and fantastic garden with lots to do for kids and toddlers. Hot tub was a perfect temperature and host was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

We really loved our stay. it is in the grounds of a grand home with a beautiful wooded garden. Lots of bird song. There are ducks wandering around and. And the very charming Lola (family dog) was always there to greet us. We had a fantastic time.

Our second visit was just as good as the first. No complaints! If you’re looking for a relaxing atmosphere, this is the place to go. Thom was great as always.

We’ve just got home from a beautiful few nights at The Croft, a clean and wonderful place for the three of us to have a peaceful few days away from the chaos of family and work! The hot tub was an awesome addition to our weekend. We walked through the footpaths to Henley for supplies, shops and pubs and what easy access from there to the train station to visit Stratford upon Avon. We’ll definitely book again if we visit that area in the future. Thanks for a lovely weekend!
