HOTORI, a private rental villa located on the banks of Otsuka Pond. This building was originally designed by an architect as his own home. It is located in the place where you can enjoy the most beautiful view of Lake Otsuka, and all living spaces are on the second floor. From the large windows in the living room, you can enjoy the lakeside scenery in each of the four seasons. There is a well-maintained Japanese garden on the premises where you can spend a relaxing time. In summer, many guests enjoy barbecues in the garden, and it is popular for family and group trips. (BBQ equipment can be rented for a fee.) There is also direct access from the property to the promenade around Lake Otsuka. Morning walks and runs are exceptional, and you may even encounter swans and wild birds. You can also walk to the hot spring baths on the opposite side of the pond. HOTORI is an accommodation for spending a relaxing time with loved ones, such as on a three-generation family trip, a gathering of relatives for a wedding or memorial service, a reunion with friends, or a group trip. It has excellent access not only to Mito City but also to the Oarai and Hitachinaka areas, making it a convenient base for watching sports and attending events. Luana House: A log house nestled by the river and surrounded by nature A secluded detached house located on the border between Ibaraki and Tochigi prefectures, approximately two hours from Tokyo. You can enjoy a peaceful stay, as if you were at a resort somewhere. Fishing is possible all year round in the river right in front of the hotel, and swimming and kayaking are also popular activities. On the spacious covered deck, you can enjoy a BBQ (authentic American grill) or socialise without worrying about the weather (optional, ¥3,000). This is a house on the shore of Lake Otsuka Park in Shin-Mizuto Hakkei. It started in July 2021. You can have a relaxing chat with friends and family, or shut out the busy everyday life and spend time looking at the pond. Self check-in and check-out. We're renovating, but The building is old and located in nature, so please refrain from booking if you are nervous. We have two single and semi-double beds from Simmons, which were used in the 1970s chandeliers and luxury hotels. The Japanese-style room can accommodate up to 3 people. Otsukaike Park has a 2.6 km path that is perfect for walking pets and running, and the Sakura Square, wooden bridges, playground equipment, fishing, and picnics make it a great place for people to relax. It is one of the leading swan migratory spots in the Kanto region, and in winter, many swans rest their wings, and it is a very beautiful pond surrounded by magnificent trees such as Japanese red pines. There is a supermarket, "Gokuraku-yu", nearby. We have electric stoves and kerosene stoves available.
